That devotional page was much needed today. My good friend went to the hospital last Saturday, was diagnosed with cancer and died this morning of a possible blood clot to his heart. The Lord knows what we need when we need it

This reminds me so much of my mom and dad, and me and my youngest sister. The four of us were inseparable for years, going out to eat, on vacations, shopping. We continued to do things with our patents after we were married too. Both parents are now gone and I would give anything to spend an evening of pizza and icecream with us all together.

Loved the family time video! Matt definitely seems more relaxed, retirement is agreeing with him. I’m from New York so that makes me a pizza snob 😂 gotta have a slice of NYC / LI pizza !! But here on Long Island we have All American burgers and Franks and next door is Marshall’s Ice Cream - a family treat for us in the summer is going there for dinner ( in the car because the outside tables are always packed) and walking over to Marshalls for ice cream. Loved the trip into Big Lots too!! Family time is the best ❤
