Took me a while but I've literally reached the point where it's touch and go whether I can make it halfway through a CLIP. I've been a Woodworth defender for the longest time but he isn't remotely endearing anymore. It seems like every time anything remotely adjacent to politics comes up he starts doing that smug, excited shift from side to side in his chair (you know the one) like he can't wait to get Reddit's opinion out and bask in his gud boi points. It's genuinely nauseating. They'd do themselves a big favour by banning politics talk on the show, tbh - but frankly I'm not sure Woody would have anything else to say at this point he's so far gone. Woody isn’t wrong about not wanting to report immediately on the attempt. Keep in mind this is the first time it happened on live TV where the president got up and where everyone had a camera. I could be wrong about The Reagan attempt but I don’t believe it was on live TV. Either way, I don’t believe this is why they took so long to report it but it is a valid point to not want to cause mass hysteria.
