asSalaamu alaikum. My son is 9 years and doing his Hifz al Qur'an by a private tutor here in the UAE. I intend to put him in a good Qur'an memorisation institute / Madrasah in the Egypt, for obvious reasons ofcourse. Viewing your lecture here makes me wonder about the Salaf, the Ahl ul Kalaam and Ahl ul Hadeeth, the Ashari.. I have no knowledge of this, So please elaborate on this. Salam alaikum brother thank you for replying I agree that there is difference in both of our understanding we all use reason which has been emphazised in the holy quran and sayings and wisdom of the prophet creating a new thing out of Islam (submission) faith was very practical during prophet muhammed (SAW) times even during the time of christ, our creator has not putten hardship in the faith that we practice, we use reason, after sincerely studying the books and understanding wisdom, we all need to refrain from name calling Al azhar is an institute has always accepted the fundamentals of faith and has practised it however there are people who want to complicate our deen into specific rulings..Some people in salafi groups with all due respect may say why are wearing a western T shirts why beard is not big enough this is the situation..People are getting divided we are seeing the effects aqeedah and other specific beliefs are now created if a person does not adhere to those dogmas are labelled as deviant or not salaf in fact again I put salaf is not in english literature we need to use terms of the language in which we are conversing...Brother you are man of wisdom as muslims let us unite muslims based on patience, righteousness, sincerity , modesty, fulfilling trust , truthfulness , Belief and reliance on our lord...Peace and salutations

There are many Salafi Dar ul-Hadith in Morocco. Daarul Hadith in Agadir / Tikiouine who is known to the scholars and there many more in other places in Morocco aswell wal-Hamdoelilaah.

@@Drigger95 I'd rather study something calling to to Tawheed using Quranic Ayat and Hadiths than the meaningless words of the philosophers you seem to follow. Ahl Sunnah follow Quran and Hadith and don't resort to the likes of Aristotle and Socrates. We refer to men like Ibn Umar may Allah be pleased with him and Ash- Shaf'iee. May Allah guide and safeguard us all.

You said “why waste your life studying Kitab tawheed?” Answer: because Prophet ﷺ fought, was banished, abused, his family and companions killed, tortured, raped, his children made martyr, he stayed hungry, he fought, he put his life on the line, he made du’a for this ummah, and passed away calling towards only one thing. TAWHEED! Most of the Qur’an says what? Tawheed. Why did Allag SWT destroy Nooh’s qoum? Cuz of Shirk. So my brother do not speak of which you have no knowledge of and I recommend you study Tawheed as well. If you don’t like that book then learn about Tawheed somewhere where you like Ibn Taymiyyah, Ibn Qudamah, and other major scholers have wrote abundantly on Tawheed.

Brother with all due respect why are sayings such things about an institute which is over thousand years old and throughout muslim history people have studied there never ever there have been clash and preventing people from there..If you dissgree wih methodology and with understanding with philosophical pursuit that is your personal preference we all agree with fundamentals of our faith...But no one has upper hand...kindly if you believe to an school of thought which we respect but refraining people from enrolling in an institute which has students of all over globe..I may agree disagree with saudi institutes and al madinah but to understand what is thought despite the amount of hatred that is spread may not refrain sincere people cause they can take decision..Calling terms such as ahlul bidah in between english conversation instead if there is somthing put across so that we can ponder upon...Jazak allah khair

Asalaamulaikum I cannot prohibit anyone from studying anywhere as I do not have that authority. However, the religion is 'sincere advice' and that is an obligation upon whoever advises to be sincere. The age of an institution does not account for its consistency in propagating authentic Islam, nor does it legitimate or authenticate its knowledge (propagating the math of the Salaf). As far as personal preference the n we all have them but when it comes to the deen it should be supported by evidence. My claims about the institution in question are methodologically based: minhaj of Salaf. I cannot advise a person to study at an institute that may teach Ashari creed and Islam from the view of Ahl Kalaam as they have creedal issues which have no support from the Salaf of this Umma. I would recommend if you need further clarification as to what I am saying that you return to the classical differences between Ahl Hadeeth and Ahl Kalaam and their diverse history and you will find Ahl Hadeeth is the Salaf who give precedence to the Book and Sunna over intellectual discourse and opinions especially regarding creed. May Allah grant us success.

Ameen. May Allah unite us on the Book and Sunna with the understanding of the Salaf. You had one mistake my brother that needs correction: Ashari & Maturidi creed is exactly that. Meaning not the creed of the Sahabah and first three generations, so check the history. Blind partisanship will not allow you to see the truth. Defending false creeds, no matter how many years of falsehood does not make it the truth or unite the Ummah. Salafis have a consistent creed and methodology dating back and stemming from Divine texts. The aforementioned sects trace their origins to Abu Mansur and Abu Hassan al-Ashari (may Allah have mercy upon him). Thank you for the discussion though.
