This has to be the single most beautiful open, honest, fundamental answer I have ever heard. It's the core answer and doesn't get any better than this. Thank you Rupert Spira xxx

After listening to this video today, I felt to express in words a little what it convayed to me. Thank You Rupert Spira xxx Experience like Seasons they come and go. And leave behind a promise and intention. They don't always live up to their name.They can leave anticipations wanting. And yet, leave behind a trace of Possibility, When not marred or closed off by bitter regret. This Is the here and now. Open, Forgiving, Responsive,Loving, Embracing.

This morning the awareness comes to me that I do not have that feeling of chasing something outside of the here and now. All action is nothing but creating anew and no moment is better or worse than any other but just wonderfully alive. Life is a series of wondrous events, not good or bad. All is well in each frame of our movie. Choice is not from the desire for bettering self and surroundings but the choice for expressing and imbibing in compassion.

Exactly, there is the sense that nothing is wrong. And you can do what you want. So if you can do all you want why dont do the right thing :) That is the love expresing itself

I am 1:30 of the video and just what he said is spot on, for me, right now. Sometimes we miss the obvious because we are continually searching and not getting the message when it presents itself. Without Consciousness/Awareness there is nought.

I totally resonate with what he's saying regarding the all-pervading awareness----- in relation to how we perceive ourselves (during the waking state) ----but----how do we 'know'---- that this is also the case after 'death '--- or after we seem to exit this time/space construct (or even during sleep --- when we're not 'conscious' of being of aware )? ------ Unless it's that we then 'become' that awareness itself--- and don't have the contrasting experience of Not being 'It'---- as is the case so often when we are in this 'waking' state of walking around on the planet............

Anne Pacur How does one 'become' what one already is? (that this is also the case after 'death '--- or after we seem to exit this time/space construct (or even during sleep - when we're not 'conscious' of being of aware )? are you not conscious of these words? understand them?

That's what I mean----- From this seemingly waking state in time/space--- he's/ we've come to that conclusion (that we are awareness)----- But how can you be 'absolutely' certain that outside of time/space --- the same conclusion would be made? (It seems like an assumption--- or a theory to believe that even after 'death' (when consciousness is withdrawn from the finite) -- that 'we' from that perspective (beyond time and space) are also what we 'are' (experienced awareness) during the waking state of being in a human body------- Does make any sense?

Anne Pacur That's what I mean----- From this seemingly waking state in time/space--- he's/ we've come to that conclusion (that we are awareness) stop there. Anything further will be an object in awareness not awareness.

When you discover that what you are is awareness, then you also discover that awareness can never die. Only the body can die. The body is finite and bound by time, awareness isn't bound by time. It is the eternal now. That which you can become aware of can never be you. You are aware of the body.

Consciousness is not systematically or deliberately ignored by our world culture or people, our world culture and most people are by design made to behave that way. To explain this phenomenon of ignorance, Vedanta has introduced the concept of Maya or Agyan, Gyan or True knowledge is the only thing which can destroy it.

How can one pay attention to being aware without turning awareness into an object? If awareness can not become an object how can one pay attention to it?
@rpodury9 жыл бұрын
Soren Bagley in pure awareness subject and object merge. Awareness is aware of itself
@SorenBagley9 жыл бұрын
Vrsarma Podury is this pure awareness something that can be experienced?
@rpodury9 жыл бұрын
Soren Bagley Please try any one of the three .. 1. The Gap between two thoughts is pure awareness 2. Observe your breathing for a while. During observation no thoughts emerge. Mind without thoughts is pure awareness. 3. Mr X is there with an object in front of him of which he asks himself the question, am I the object? The answer is obviously no, as it is separate from the subject Mr.X. Then the next question is, am I the body? Here also the answer is no as the subject Mr.X clearly identifies his body as an object. Extending this questioning, Mr X finds that he himself is the subject to the objects like his mind, his thoughts, his feelings etc. and reaches a point where his 'I' only remains as just subject. It is pure awareness before any thoughts emerge.

Hi... For me I am mostly aware of being aware but find it hard sometimes to connect with other people.. Sometimes even use words.. I like to be connected with others but sometimes I feel to be isolated.. Any suggestions? Thank you :)
