I love your set up! I was trying to figure out what you use your weekend columns for? I couldn’t really tell and I’m not sure if you said

Do you have 50 minute periods or block periods? I'm just curious because we have 47 minute periods on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays. On Wednesdays, we have odd block days, and on Thursdays, we have even block days. I enjoyed your video! It's inspirational!

Hello! Thanks for watching. I really need to get back into my vlogs, but teaching is so involved that I often don't have time to create new content. Argh, the struggle. Anyway, we have block periods of 84 minutes, 4 blocks a day.

Thank you for the awesome video! I love the way you plan! I want to say I love Thank you M'am it's a great short story. I would like to see a video of how you plan your units that you do for your classes.

I taught freshmen for 12 years, and I miss all that literature. Love gothic lit! My fav is Frankenstein. I would LOVE to teach an entire class devoted to it, but sadly, most high school students don't take ELA electives. You have such a small yearbook staff. I couldn't function with less than 20 lol

The Classy Flamingo thanks for watching! Omg, 20 in Yearbook would be my nightmare. We have a small book (144 pages) so there just wouldn't be enough work to go around. I'm happy to have found another Gothic Lit fan! We have ELA electives (like yearbook) but a Gothic class wouldn't peak many students interest. Electives are tough to plan out.

Mrs. Y is Fly Our book was almost 300 pages so we had plenty to go around. The school I'm at now, there are only 11 staffers for a 600 page book, and I don't know how they manage (although over half the book is senior ads). I'd be pulling my hair out. The journalism job is split here; he teaches photojournalism and advises the yearbook, and I teach journalism and advise the newspaper.
