An MV-22B Osprey assigned to the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit, VMM-265, crashed in Shoalwater Bay, Australia on 5 August 2017, killing three Marines. The tiltrotor struck the USS Green Bay and crashed into the sea shortly after taking off from amphibious assault ship USS Bonhomme Richard. 23 personnel were recovered from the stricken aircraft, with three confirmed dead

So I can’t be the only one that thinks that AI doesn’t know the difference between a takeoff and a landing. The first one, the DHL was a landing incident as was clearly visible by the firetrucks, waiting by the runway. And then the Osprey was clearly landing. I hate the new Internet.
@malcolmabram29572 ай бұрын
The Osprey needs care when landing on uneven services as the up draft of the ground can be greater on one side than the other (viz a viz side of aircraft carrier), destabilising the landing.

@xzatorF13 ай бұрын
Bird strikes are common, thats it. Crashes because of bird strikes are below 10%, because it is safe. Airplanes have a system called APU to glide the aircraft safely for emergency landings.
