A milestone 3D printing WWII aircraft, Marschall. Congratulations once more on outstanding engineering. Unbeatable!! By the way, it's a nice footage as well.

Tolle Arbeit - die Modelle werden immer besser! Schade, dass ich kaum noch Zeit für dieses wunderschöne Hobby habe 😢

Truly great work man! Unfortunately I have many doubts about the resistance of the LW-PLA to sunlight in summer. I've already lost a model for this reason and when they start to get so expensive I have serious doubts. Let's hope that 3D printer filament technology progresses in this direction.

Thank you! This is not really a problem with light colors, as the infill of this model (Planeprint P5 construction) is very dense and there is hardly any deformation. Many people use the new Colorfabb LW HT, which is slightly heavier, but the heat problem is no longer a problem.

@planeprint Thanks for the suggestion, I will try this filament. Keep it up because your work is amazing!

BambuLabs also has an ASA-LW-PLA. Using the white colour, a good sized part was printed and left at our field for several days... in the sun... no effect at all. But, I don't know how it would react when painted with a dark colour and left in the sun.

@@rcdavidkIt would be still be ASA, dark color or not.

oofftt probably over 200hrs continuous printing. wow, not for me but it looks great.

very nice design and build,but It's too heavy. you guys should pay more attention to lightweight designs.
@planeprintАй бұрын
Too heavy compared to what? foam models? You have no idea how much know-how is used to save every unnecessary gram in the design of these models and still get a stable and suitable for everyday use! The weight is absolutely top and is even in the mid-range of comparable conventional models. Or do you mean 3d printed models that fall apart during transportation or in fast flight?
@Rick-ox5yh29 күн бұрын
@@planeprint just compare to your previous designs,ASK14,2.5m wingspan just 1.2kg PLA,I printed two,it flies very well. some other examples: eclipson MODEL BXL,1.5m wingspan,700g LW-PLA eclipson MXS-R V2,1.4m wingspan,800g LW-PLA eclipson MODEL X,2m wingspan,860g LW-PLA 3dlab P51D,1.4m wingspan,776g LW-PLA 3dlab A10,1.56m,1.5kg LW-PLA 3dlab 1.7m B-25J,2kg PLA your 1.5m SEA FURY,2.1kg material,include 1.6kg LW-PLA!! seems you don't pay much attention to the work of other designers,I printed more than 50 models,3dlab,owlplane,pp,titan dynamics,troy's,eclipson,etc. ,none of them fall apart during transportation or in fast flight.
@planeprint29 күн бұрын
@@Rick-ox5yh Unfortunately, if you only compare the wingspan, you don't get meaningful results. The Sea Fury is a powerful aircraft with a lot of volume. You can't do magic with LW PLA either. I don't think much of the construction method with very few ribs inside, these models are too fragile for me. But of course everyone sees it differently.

in reality, this plane is so lightweight that i would even suggest a slighty heavier battery for a scale like appearance. it is light like a feather in the air
