2001 Planet of the Apes (directed by Tim Burton) is a boring movie that made a crap ton of movie. The highly acclaimed, stylized director wanted to pay homage to the B movie from the late 60s and did his best. Unfortunately, the film was a massive disaster in terms of critical performance (but did well at the box office). The film was supposed to be set up with a massive franchise, but unfortunately/fortunately, didn't happen. So, for MovieTots, we decided to take a look at the film and see if there is anything going making it the perfect 'Lost and Found' subject.
Synopsis - In 2029, an Air Force astronaut crash-lands on a mysterious planet where evolved, talking apes dominate a race of primitive humans.
Starring - Mark Walhberg, Tim Roth, Paul Giamatti
