Big shout out to all of you in the comments! I tried to address as many of the pointers and comments as I could today, but there's still more to do. God heavens you were adorable when you succeeded with the tortoise habitat - when you said you were so happy! Your happiness extended to me and I was feeling a little sick and sullen 🤩 It made my morning! Edit: Also you forgot to include the new habitats in the zones - I didn't see you do that at least. I think that's why the spider wasn't getting fed. And I think you should divide the habitats into two zones --- the glass/aquarium/exhibitions into 1 and the Tortoise and Wolf into another.

the galapagos tortoises actually were also eaten to near extinction by pirates as well. pirates would go to the islands to hide from the law and gathered as many tortoises as they could before they left out to sea again

Hi. #partyelite loving your efforts. Could I make a humble request to my poor eyes. I can't see as most of the time, it is always dark. Maybe when u have cash to spare, throw in flood lights or something.. Or even close the zoo before dark? Maybe 7am to 7pm (thought you could lose money) just a suggestion. Nevertheless, loving the series. Waiting for more episodes. -mazeed

Just thought I'd let you know, that you shouldn't release old animals as it is A) bad for the animal as they are too old to survive in the wild and B) you make a lot less CP from doing so. It is actually better to send the youngest to the quarantine while you wait out the old ones (Jackson and Wenona) to die of old age. Which won't take too long anyway since they're already almost there and in the meantime Nakedra in the quarantine will be perfectly taken care of in every sense by the game. If you're having problems with starvation or something else that is also as quick way to escape problems while you try and fix their habitats and/or exhibits.

Guests can enter the tortoise habitat, but it really stresses the animals out. In the Zoopedia, it will tell you how animals react to people. If it says “shy” the animals won’t want people wandering through their habitat.

I'm sure you know by now because I'm finding this series late but the money I notice takes those big drops every feeding and every staff payday. The loans I find don't hurt if you do them properly because I've taken 2 loans and just used them as recouping money didn't spend a lot of it and after the second loan I was maintaining 15-20K steady I just used the loan to enhance my first habitat and exhibit spruced them up trained staff and set up educational talks at the 2 animals (I have Ostrich and Mexican Red Knee Tarantula) and the guests really liked that and money and donations went quickly

Another great vid! With the tortoise enclosure it’s an awesome idea with the archway but I would suggest doing it with a different animal. Because tortoise move so slowly you run the risk of them dying from starvation or dehydration. My suggestion instead is splitting the enclosure in two, (or making the arch non traversable) and having them both as walk in enclosures. Customers can enter the tortoise exhibit as well as the Indian peafowls. The customers love it and the peafowls breed like crazy for money. Also with staff, they can be over worked but as long as their smiley faces are green then they’re fine. Love your passion in your vids!

Nice video, keep the series going. A couple of pointers that might help, use your heat maps to show water and power coverage it will save time searching for the utilities underground. Add an ATM so guests can draw out more money to spend in the park. You went too early on building the food/drink shops and toilets. They are just not bringing in enough sales to cover staff and running costs. Wait till you have about 700+ guests on a regular basis before building these shops, just go with the info stand and balloon shop. Make sure you set your staff room perks to help your staff recover, don't worry about hiding the facilities, as long as the guests don't enter the red bubble around them they won't get a negative impact. Keep up the good work.

You can decrease the time in between each inspection done on everything. If you clink the water filter and the power generator I find changing it to every 6months that helps maintain it so less breakages. Also with the habitats I change all the visits for the keepers, mechanic and vet to monthly, this means less damaged walls also less calls of food upkeep.

Loving the playthrough. Remember to change the layouts of your exhibit animals. You already got some for your rattlesnakes, but forgot to give them new stuff. Also you don't need to check temperatures in zoopedia for them, it shows right in the exhibit tab where you tweak temperature and humidity. I tried looking out for what times your money dips, because I've been having the same issue, but seems to be entirely random and there's no way to see what is being paid for when. It could be animal feedings ticking through or wages somehow. Around 23:26 you were fine for more than a month and then suddenly your money went into -1000 at the end of the month. I would also like others suggest that you put food and water on both sides of the tortoise enclosure :) They are super slow, so get dehydrated before they can even get to the other side haha. You shouldn't trade away the older wolves. They don't really give you much money or conservation points wise. You trade the young ones away once they grow older. Oh yeah, and you didn't add the new exhibit into your workzone, which is why the spiders aren't getting fed :)
@spuffed5 жыл бұрын
You’ve gotten some good feedback. Here are my two cents. If any vendor isn’t profiting over their salary then shut them down (don’t delete, just shut down the service) Including food and drink. From what I’ve seen, food and drink doesn’t sell until 2-3 strong habitats. Also, exhibits appear to not make much money compared to habitats in any circumstance that I’ve seen. I’m thinking they’re best suited for more established zoos (6+ habitats) and only when you are flush. $5,000 is flush for a couple in a small apartment, not a zoo, lol. I’m curious about the view comments from guests...I wonder if some of that is related to the fact that your staff building cluster isn’t shelled into a building to “cover “ it. That was a major tip from planet zoo folks in beta. Lastly, I haven’t seen you do much of this but have seen others do it who all have very low cash to start; don’t delete trees and such that you’ve placed and don’t work, just move off to the side and use them in landscaping areas that don’t affect habitats as it seems like you get very little money back by deleting them. Anyhow, you’ve got a beautiful voice and I’m looking forward to more work from you. Thanks so much and best wishes!

I know we keep saying it, but you really need to put the fence right next to the path. You will want guests to be able to walk right up to the fence, and if there is any grassy area between the fence and path, they won't do it. Setting the path and fence next to each other will make for a better viewing experience. Also, do your donation boxes need to be right in front of the reptile exhibits or even right off on the side? Idk if you ever played Zoo Tycoon, but in that game it was every bit as effective for me to have donation boxes on the path or on the opposite side of the path from the exhibit. Usually, as long as your guests enjoy the animals and get educated by the exhibit, they donate. And the one donation box between the two reptile exhibits should be enough. As you saw earlier when you checked the box by the rattlesnake, most of the donations were coming from people who donated because of the wolves. Save yourself the cost of buying donation boxes, truly. One of the best ways to get donations is to set up specific viewing areas instead of making the enclosure viewable all the way around. So taller fencing at the corners with a few lower sections in the middle will draw crowds specifically to the lower sections to look at the animals. Put your donation box near that area, and maybe a couple of benches nearby so people can rest after viewing the animals. Rested guests are happier and happier guests buy things. Sweetie, the Gila Monster is pronounced "HEE-la Monster."
