Or a small 2-5 team trying to sneak objectives in. Had the most fun trying to sneak-capture objectives in the middle of a warzone or just attacking the sunderers. Or in my case, deploying a sneaky sunderer at dumb lcoations that won us the areas.

TR soldier from the server of Connery here. I know that everyone seems bad to each side. To the TR, the NC and VS are evil. To the NC, the TR and VS are evil. Well, everyone is good in their own judgement. Everyone is bad in their own judgement. I see why the NC and TR fight. I do not, however, see the VS fighting for any reason other than machines. All soldiers fight for a reason. As TR, I see many NC using their numbers to win. I see the VS using Scythes all the time. Don't work with your numbers or one type of attack. Work with your minds. Use your heads to defeat your enemies, but most importantly, know your enemy. The NC have more land than the TR, and take even more, while the TR are just struggling to hold the line. NC. I come with a simple message. I come with a message, not of peace, but of warning. There will be a fourth faction. When this faction rises from the dust, and the ashes of traitorous NC, TR, and VS soldiers, who will be left to fight this faction? TR? NC? VS? No... Only one faction would be able to fight this faction. I come with a message for an alliance against this fourth faction. We shall all be outnumbered. Only the loyal will stay. That is very few soldiers in each faction. This is why we must unite. The TR wish for unity. The NC wish for freedom. The VS wish to research technology. I wish each faction had one specific class. TR would have the Enforcer; no shields but extremely high health. VS could have an Enlightener; which would have the ability to change an enemies perception for ten seconds; friendlies are enemies and enemies are friendly. And the NC could have a Revolutionary; which would have high shields ; almost no life and it could give up shield regen (toggled of course) in exchange for extra damage. Just a thought.

I hate to break it to you Vanu players. But during the battle starting at around 0:33 the NC would've destroyed the Vanu guys if it wasn't staged. In a close quarters battle where the Vanu's accuracy counts for nothing, the NC's superior weapon damage would have melted those VS soldier's faces. Sorry, im over analytic :p

Tbh i don't see how the NC managed to even get on that gun deck. I mean seeing that many NC organised in such a great way (I mean jumping into a gal and jumping out in a co-ordinated fashion) is simply incredible for the NC. Pity the NC pilot didn't have the brains to drop them on the gun deck... The Gal would've exploded about 15m from the landing pad because that's what happens to ANY lone gal that tries to do that in a battle that size, regardless of faction.

High weapon damage means nothing if you don't have the fire rate to back it up. Yes, you might do more damage per shot, but you fire slowly, and in close quarters, you either have to do high damage in one shot (enough to kill or severely wound for a second shot or third shot kill), or have the fire rate advantage. The Vanu and Terran can easily out-damage a Conglomerate in close quarters due to high fire rates, but at range, the Conglomerate has an advantage due to having more damage; therefore mitigating damage drop-off with the higher damage.

I'm NC, but I had a lot of fun with VS one time on Indar. Tore apart a mob of TR Sunderers and Prowlers while camping with some friends on a ridge, while some Vanu on another ridge did the same. The funny thing is, I have talked to people in my school, who I've never talked to before and aren't "hardcore" gamers, and they mostly agree that they don't like playing as the Vanu. The reason? I quote, "It's too easy.". No joke, I find it the same way, mostly due to easily controlled recoil patterns and vehicles that can fire accurately while moving, unlike TR and NC vehicles. Just the opinion of a few people though.

They're mere gimmicks that we have to exploit in order to survive. Of course when we do exploit them they get nerfed (slug shotties for example....). Bullet drop is no problem, i mean do you feel that having bullet drop on a weapon hinders you when you use it? Do you even notice the bullet drop on anything other than suppressed SMGs when you're using them beyond their effective range? I mean, our standard secondaries are the underboss and commie and they have bullet drop. Our tanks have the most bullet drop. And i don't even know a sniper that favours the semi-auto snipers over the BASRs (which have bullet drop). Nah, no bullet drop is no problem, take it all away tomorrow and the only people that'll notice are the few people that still use the Saron HRB and the Eidolon BR..... Plus at least with bullet drop you can shoot over the top of things, VS weapons can't do that.....
