I was having a high pain morning and felt I couldn't get out of bed at all, but hearing your slow, relaxed, project-focused approach made me feel inspired to "just put one load of laundry on" then "just start running a bath" - I've now done two laundry loads, shaved my legs and given myself a pedicure! Yes I'm back in bed now but I am so grateful to your approach to life because it's the difference between being able to do small acts of self care, or nothing at all!

Love that you said you wanted to keep the curve on the plasterwork, not wanting to make things look modern. An arte critique with love… The hydrangea painting over the piano is perfect . The two floral prints compete with the bedside lampshades but perhaps in the window alcove wall space with one on each side of the window in your master. The original nautical theme in the “green” room is lovely and adding the floral piece was not working as well. Too bright with the more subtle tones of the ships. The print of the seaside wharf works well and perhaps the tiny mountain piece for a simple 3 piece arrangement. Love the red floral over the chair!!! Thanks for another chill and impromptu vlog… they're always my favorite! They're like hanging out with a friend 💜

I'd go for a colour that reflects the light for your hallway. Our living room is only slightly brighter than your hallway. We used to have a stone colour and over time it became so dark and almost depressing. We changed to a light apple green a year ago and it's made a huge difference! My whole mood is uplifted, especially in the darker, winter months

I think just the one big picture in the green room as it is quite a narrow room when bed there and too busy with 2 extra pics. Maybe hall as it is long and can take extra interest and welcoming. The pic above the piano great - suits so well.

I'm really sorry people have been so critical of what you wear/how you look. You are beautiful! I personally love it so much that we see you dressed in a variety of ways (dressed up, casual, etc.) because it reflects what I look like in day-to-day life too. I dress nicely sometimes but I'm often in PJs or sweats at home (and even sometimes when I'm out and about haha), and it's nice to see that normalized. I think most normal humans can't be bothered to look glam 24/7, but KZbin sometimes gives the impression that that is the case. Thank you for all the great content you put out, it's such a joy to watch!

Personally, I enjoy seeing your home decor ideas. Sounds like you're going to have a blue hallway. If you don't hate yellow, a really nice buttery yellow would brighten the hall, plus yellow is the only color that goes well with every single color. Thinking your art would likely work with yellow. Also really like the flowers in the "nursery". I think it would be nice framed, just my opinion. By the way, I prefer wild hair too.

Dear Maddy, i love your style of your home enthough it is very different to my personal taste. if you want to bring a modern element in your house try hanging a square oversised print or piece of art. maybe with a simple oak frame to still go with your vibe. even just a square frame would work wonders to make a space less formal. And sidenote: the hydrangaeas you planted are shadow flowers. i think your flower beds are south facing so they will actually burn in the sun. there are hydrangeas whitch are sun loving and more suitable for your flower beds. xoxo

Swap out the lighter picture behind the living room door and replace it with the dark one on the side of the bed of the green room.(that you used to love in your kitchen?) I think that it would be very restful and cohesive in your cozy living room. Especially with the hydrangea picture over the piano.

Your garden after the trimming is going to look amazing! Well groomed garden is like when we get dressed and when our face is all dolled up after we wake up in the morning 😍🥰🤩🤩 also, hanging a curtain inside your house in front of your entrance door is a great idea, but I’ll suggest to do a coffee color or that type of shade - dark blue is going to show all the dust. 42:58 maybe on the wall on the left of you? I always love to see a pretty painting on the wall next to the bed when I wake up. Only decorating the wall behind the bed, feels really photoshoot oriented to me (does that make sense?) or hotel-ish. For the book with pretty pictures that you aren't sure you want to rip out, how about placing a book stand on some surface and leaving it open on the page with a picture? Naturally, you can change up the picture that is shown from time to time. That floral does go nicely in the pink room, but it really made the reds in the bedspread and curtains pop when in the green room. Hard to decide!!! Even if it doesnt go in the green room, maybe you can find some art with reds to help bring out those accents like the floral one did? Obvs only little pops of red, not a whole red peice, but just enough to complement the accent colors already in the room! I also think you should make the gallery wall larger, wider speficially, the just three or four feels incomplete. but thats just me! I tend to be a bit maximalist on my walls, so really whatever looks right to you.

I don’t even know anyone in real life that puts all the fuss in that most KZbinrs do, even when going out. I love the hydrangeas above the piano, and the red flowers in the pink room. Also, yes, having a bed in the nursery would be amazing. It will be heavily used!!
