What did you think of it? Were you like me and expecting more sweetness? I really thought it was good but I had to get beyond the fact that it wasn't a dessert bar!! LOL Also, just an FYI - if you go to the description box of my meal prep videos, I will always link the recipe in there for you. :)

Planning Us Healthy I Loved it, I added sliced bananas on top and it was perfect. My husband on the other hand said it wasn’t sweet enough for him. Thanks again.

The oatmeal bake looks awesome!! I will definitely be trying that! I like your meal kit idea because you don't have to reheat your meal. I tend to something similar around the holidays. It really speeds up the Process when your cooking & have all of your ingredients prepped & ready. I'm going to check out the have you get from Amazon too. I'm trying to get away from disposab!e items in my kitchen.

Hi Kristi- Glad to see your video this week. Can’t believe I have been doing very well during this whole quarantine. Been doing better than I was before being locked in the house. I think because we have been planning all our meals, no take out at all. My husband is a teacher so he has been home with my daughter and usually before when every thing was normal we would be running around like lunatics doing after school activities and getting takeout at least twice a night. So now we are saving money and keeping that junk fast food out of the house. Hope you and your family are doing well!

Hi Lori!! That's great!!! I'm sure that's what it is. You're now in kind of a normal routine (although I don't know the word normal can exist right now). Glad to hear you are doing well! I am finally able to start working from home for part of the week, so I'm thankful for that!

So glad you found it! You can always message me if you can't find something. :) Also, if you go to the main page of anyone's KZbin, there should be a little magnifying glass and you can type in whatever word and it should bring you all their videos with that word in it. 😉

Made the Baked Apple Cinnamon Oatmeal today. It was delicious! I ended up using a Caramel Premier Protein and a 1/4 cup of milk and it gave a nice caramel flavor. We ate it warm right out of the oven and it was good. I do think the leftovers will be tasty too as it should have more time for the caramel flavor to set in. Also, making it in a 9x13 with 6 portions made it only 4 points on blue so that was great too as it was a nice portion! Thanks so much for sharing this recipe!!
@PlanningUsHealthy4 жыл бұрын
Oh, Katie!! That sounds so good with the caramel!! Mmmmmm....I may have to try that!

Hi Sherry! Sure!! I actually used to do a cook with me once a week for some of the recipes, but with everything going on lately, I haven't done a cook with me in a while. I definitely plan on starting those again though!

Hi Wendy!! That's a great idea for a video topic!! I probably won't be doing a meal prep this week with it being Easter on Sunday, so I may try to put something together on that topic!! Thanks so much for the idea!

Did you feel the 9 x 13 pan was the best size for the oatmeal dish? Looks yummy!
@PlanningUsHealthy4 жыл бұрын
It seemed okay to me. I usually do most of my pancake bakes in that size too. I imagine you could use any size, depending on how thick you like it.

Yes! I just told my husband that I think I could tweak the recipe and make cookies out of it too!! I'd have to add some sweetener though because it's not overly sweet.

Hi Chelle!! Hanging in there! Hope you're doing well! We really liked the oatmeal bake! My husband said it's a new favorite of his (although he did admit that he expected sweetness at first). I can't decide if I liked it better cold or heated though. And I'm thinking for a sweet snack, I could tweak these into some really good cookies!!

Hey Kristi!! Your meal prep looks delicious this week! I can’t wait to hear how everything taste! Is the oatmeal bake like a oatmeal bar or like regular oatmeal? Thank you for all you do and stay safe! Kind Regards, T
@PlanningUsHealthy4 жыл бұрын
Hi T! Everything was good! I won't add carrots to the lunch next time - they didn't have enough time to cook. We thought the breakfast was really good. I expected more sweetness because looking at it, it looks like a big oatmeal cookie bar! LOL But it was still really good. My husband loved it. It's more like a bar rather than actual oatmeal. You can kind of pick it up and eat it with your hands. Stay safe!!

The Oatmeal, Apple bake sounds really good. I have the same problem, night time snacking, I'm fine all day and then at night I kind of blow it!
@PlanningUsHealthy4 жыл бұрын
Thanks Jennie! We really liked the oatmeal! And yes, that nighttime snacking is awful sometimes. For me, it's 99% habit, to be honest! Once I get out of that habit, I'm fine. I've actually done much better the last couple nights! Hoping for a better result on the scale tomorrow!!

If you use cauliflower rice in the chicken would it be zero points?
@PlanningUsHealthy3 жыл бұрын
I would think so, but double check the points. I don't eat cauliflower rice, but from my understanding, that is a zero-point food. :)
