Have you tried Dandy Blend? I just tried it and love it as a healthy coffee alternative...comes in a powder and you only need like a tsp per cup. No caffeine, good for your liver and digestive system. Your videos/photos are always beautiful by the way!

Great that you're vegan and have a whole foods plant based diet which is what I focus on because it is healthy but I do supplement my B vitamins, D3 and Seakelp for iodine and calcium and other antioxidants that are in Seakelp. I have seeds in my breakfast every day which gives me my minerals and antioxidants such as Vitamin E and fruits for the vitamin C especially Kiwi and berries. I use my local zero waste store for some products.

Just make your own butter I make almond & walnut I love to soak my beans rather then getting canned foods & making tortillas is easy making that everyday . As a Mexican we've always make everything from scratch & cook everyday.

Loved this video! I always love pantry/fridge staples videos. Split re lentils are also a huge staple in our house - can't seem to ever keep the jar full! You mentioned that you and Dusty don't eat oil. Is there a video where you explain this? I've been really interested in this topic and would love to hear your thoughts on it.

Oil is a 100% refined fat, so it’s kind of like white sugar, which is a 100% refined carb. It’s stripped of and void of essential nutrients like fiber and vitamins and minerals. We just find that we get plenty of fat from whole food sources! Oil is also incredibly calorie dense and can be unhealthy and harmful to your arteries!

We are not 100% gluten-free, but we try not to consume too much just because there are so many unhealthy processed foods that contain gluten and we don’t prefer to eat them anyway. We might have to make a video on it! One thing we do love is organic Ezekiel bread!

Yes I take a Brazil nut each day and my prenatal multi recommends taking 3 pills per day and I only take 1, so I’m sure I’m not getting a crazy amount...I just take the minimum because I eat such a well balanced diet!

Hi there, some ideas are things like lemon/ lime juice, vinegar can be great, using a pureed or mashed avocado is really good (we add garlic powder, mustard and a splash of maple syrup to our avocado for dressings). Hope this helps :)

I store the superfoods/powders i use daily for my smoothies in a small box inside my storage, so I don't have to take every single one out and put it back again, it definitely saves time :) maybe that would work for you too And have you tried puffed amaranth yet? I use it as a topping for my smoothie bowls everyday :)

Irish moss is a great source of natural iodine and minerals.. see KZbin vids to prepare it. I take two tablespoons a day in some juice. It doesn't taste of anything :)
