In this video dr karthikeyan explains about the plantar fasciitis (broad ligament of heel), heel pain, leg and muscle cramps symptoms and origin of spasm and leg cramps with the help of diagram of legs, feet, broad ligament and its nerve supply. Further various reasons for plantar fasciitis (குதிகால் வலி) leg cramps (கால் வலி பாத வலி) such as overweight, obese, standing for long hours, sports persons doing intense physical activity, pregnancy, smoking and dehydration and exercise are explained followed by the exercises for management of plantar fasciitis pain (குதிகால் வலி),muscle and leg cramps (கால் எரிச்சல் பாத எரிச்சல்). Doctor karthikeyan ends the video by explaining about the treatment modalities available for treatment of plantar fasciitis, leg and muscle cramps.

I tried it for 3 days regularly in the morning and got 75% relief. Thank you. Instead of using splint in the night i tied it in a way as seen in splint with a shawl and in the morning pain is very slight. Thank you once again sir

டாக்டர்.. எனக்கு வயது 27, என் வலது குதி காலை தவறுதலாக ஒரு கூர்மையான கப்பி கல்லில் வைத்துவிட்டேன்.அன்றிலிருந்து , இன்றுவரை வலியால் அவதிஅடைகிறேன்.தினுமும் காலை வேளையிலும், உட்கார்ந்து பின் எலும்போதும் இந்த வலி உள்ளது.MCP செருப்பு அணிகிறன், தினமும் இரவு வெந்நீரில் ஒற்றடம் செய்கிறேன்.இருந்தபோதும், இன்னும் இயல்பு நிலைக்கு திரும்ப முடியவில்லை.தாங்கள் கூறிய உடற்பயிற்சிகள், உதவியளிக்கும் என்று நம்புகிறேன்.மிகவும்நன்றி!!!!

Thank you doctor. Very clear explanation for plantar fasciitis pain reduction. I am 60+ and I had this problem for more than 1 year. I went to one Ayurvedic doctor. He taught me all these exercises including ice bottle exercise. Also at night before going to bed I keep my leg in hot warm water with Crystal salt added to it for 10/15 minutes. Then after wiping the leg nicely I give oil ( coconut oil) massage to the foot . All these has given very good result and the pain has reduced drastically. Also by wearing shoes with insole is very important to keep the pain away. Never walk bare foot even at home. Either wear chappals or socks all the time.
