I just got Plantar fasciitis , hurts like a mother when I take my first 15 steps in the morning. but I refuse to take time off from running. but honestly when I start jogging I hurts, but half a mile into my run, it doesn't feel that bad. I'm still running 12 to 15 miles a day.

This was a very helpful video, thank you very much. I had a couple of questions. What kind of workouts do you recommend, that can help with weight loss, if you have PF? Is it possible to recover completely from PF and be pain free? And, after complete recovery, is it better to switch to barefoot running?

I've found a shoe that's really helped keep away my PF. The problem is that they're $180, but they really let your toes spread naturally. You can actually see your toes spreading through the knit upper material of the shoe. The shoes I'm talking about are the Adidas Ultra Boost. People think I'm sponsored by Adidas, the way I'm always talking about them. Lol. Anyway, just thought I'd throw that out there, since they've really helped me.

+SuperBizalz Awesome!!! That is hard to find in a running shoe. Do you know if the toe drop is at zero? Or minimal? Is the heel elevated at all? I will google them right now. My favorite shoe that allows my toes to spread out is Lems. They are super comfy but quite a bit minimal, so it can take some time to adjust. My feet were sore for months from wearing them. I will have to check out those shoes you mentioned, thanks!

+PlantarFasciitis SurvivalGuide I just looked it up, and the specs state the drop from heel to forefoot is 10.1mm. The Boost tech makes it so I'm not aching the next day. I'm telling you, sliced bread ain't got nothin' on this tech. Lol

+SuperBizalz yeah price is high. will have to check them out though! it is so hard to find good shoes nowadays, i will consider anything! alao check out lems if you need some new shoes. people think I am a salesman for them, but they never even answered my basic question when I emailed them! such a bummer. I love them! and no problem! glad I could help :)

Love the way your T shirt changes the color of your eyes to green! Thanks so much for your videos, you are very informed, and a very good teacher. Are you a chiropractor? What qualifications do you have? You know more than most naturopaths I have listened to!! Thanks for all the info, you rock!!

Why thank you! And I am glad I can help :) And no, not a chiro. I have no qualifications but study all forms of science. I dropped out of college when one of my books became a best seller. I just simply read and experiment on my own. And thanks! :)

I have bought your book just a week ago when all doctors gave up on me. PF for 9 months now. Stopped running, dancing, hiking (still working out though and walking short distances of 5 km). You got me back to positive mind set. Just like lulu lizzard, I was wondering about your qualifications. Thanks for responing sincerely. I do not have results yet, but trigger points are certainly working and it makes all so much sense that I trust you waaaay more than all those specialists I've visited. Thanks for sharing your knowledge! I will stick around for a while. :D (and yes, those eyes;)

I have a resistance band and was instructed to use it to strengthen my feet, since I have fallen arches. the exercise is called Dorsiflexion. in your opinion is this a good idea?
