Ok your broccoli, never just steam in the bag,, i was craving broccoli at 3 am. So I grabbed a bag, dumped it in a bowl safe to microwave. Liberal sprinkle of lemon pepper (no salt) added a splash of water. Microwave till done about 6 minutes. The smell woke my partner who came out to the living room asking what I made and was there enough to share lol trust me, lemon pepoer doesn't leave a flavor but makes your veg taste anazing!!

You are such a nice, genuine person, Joey, that it doesn’t surprise me that the middle school wants to keep you and that the new high school snapped you up. You will make a positive impact on a whole group of new young people who will be lucky to have you. Oh, gotta try that veggie soup! Don’t know how I’ve missed the recipe all this time. 😁

Carol Ann, I was just shocked that anyone was even interested in hiring me at all. As much as I loved teaching math, the HS position was the one I needed to be with my son. I hate change but this is the right choice. Thanks so much for watching.

I’ve had two friends who had the same thing happen to them with trying to get their high school kids into a school closer to ours and the district would not accommodate them. It’s infuriating. Different district, different state, same stuff. Anyway, great lunches! Thanks for the video and I hope you have a nice summer.

*Tips for picking out cantaloupe* Starting with the outside you want it to be more tan and less green. If you can smell put your nose up to the melon and the sweet smell of the cantaloupe surface should be noticeable. A lot of bumps and bruises can make it mushy and pungent but a little bit of give (lets say you would worry if you tossed it into the cart a little too hard that it might bruise) is optimal. As far as storing it for the best taste I cut off only what will be eaten and then leave the rest with the seeds still intact so it retains it's moisture best. Best of luck on your next purchase.

Congratulations on your new adventures! A recommendation for next level cantaloupe: sprinkle a batch of bite sized chunks with basil. Let it marinate for a while. I use dried basil because it’s in teeny tiny bits, so it doesn’t overpower with each bite. During melon season, this is the number one request I get to bring to parties. It’s good on honeydew, too, and orange slices cut into bites, and pineapple. I toss watermelon bites with spearmint.

You were talking about how thankful you were to the teachers around you.👍 Am sure they felt the same. It's delightful when things work out like it appears to have. Of course, Lex was going to be unhappy from his point of view. Normal reaction. My Dad was a teacher but he taught in various counties in Michigan. I was placed in the church school 1/2 mile from the house. He was often the principal for the school he was in for the year. So...when it came to activities, I could join in, be it Christmas or a skate party & I would often get overwhelmed by offers to partner up for a song to skate by. School is different these days...shoot, life is different. Am happy you are relieved about placements for new year. Few more weeks, surgery, recoup time & summer will be gone! Life will take off again!😎

@PlantBasedDads 2 жыл бұрын
Hello. So, I do have a Career and Technology Teaching Certificate that qualifies me to teach my previous career of 14 years, which was a Computer Network Engineer. So I am qualified to teach the computer science class. I am still working on my degree in education so I can't teach anything else. I was teaching the math class all year as a substitute. So really, its the math class that I wasn't qualified for. But, there are not enough teachers so desperate times call for desperate measures. It turned out great and I loved as as did the kids. Thanks so much for watching.
