Hello everyone and thanks for watching our latest video. This BBQ Chickpea chopped salad is sooooo good. You are going to love the dressing too. Let me know in the comments below if you eat salad during the winter too or just during the summer. - Joey

Roasted corn would add a wonderful flavor to this salad! Just pop the corn in a frying pan without oil and a little water and let it brown.

Enjoying the subtle changes in your format, less like an infomercial. Joey, asking companies to sponsor will not be necessary once you have enough subscribers and hits, build it and they will come. Wishing you success.

Hey guys wasn't sure if you knew, in working up an oil free. No sugar mascarpone I wanted to avoid sugar so I tried tiny pinches of baking soda, thinking raise the ph slightly sweeten mascarpone... it WORKS! I've tried this now in marinara, hot sauce, mascarpone magic usually 1/8-1/2 tsp is all thats needed!

Well...I'm water-fasting right now, but I eat salad most days all year long. I put a boatload of chopped baby greens on the bottom with beans, other chopped veg, fruit, and some sort of dressing--usually salsa.

Hello. When I am working by myself, I use a lapel mic, but when Tim is working with me, I have an overhead boom mic that pics up everything and sometimes has trouble deciding which one of us is talking. I may need to switch to two wireless lapel mics.

I try to stick to the nutritarian diet, so I eat a big salad every single day for lunch. I always make it with a grain, a bean, and a finely chopped mushroom warmed and poured over the top no matter the type of salad, and this way it seems more like an upside down grain bowl. I also almost always put raw sunflower seeds or pumpkin seeds on top for some crunch. You should totally try the nutritarian salad dressing recipes in Dr. Fuhrman's books. They are all SO good I don't feel like I am ever bored eating salad and I have been on this diet since 2017. My favorite right now is the almond ginger dressing. Thanks for the salad recipe. I love chickpeas and can't wait to try it.

My salad dressing is usually organic unsweetened applesauce at the regular store. It is sweet and I add seasonings like garlic powder and a little vinegar. It’s done in 20 seconds.

That looks so good! I would definitely add tortilla chips. I make oil free ones just by air frying corn tortillas with some salt.

If you don't mind me asking - how are the chips in the air fryer?? New to this way of eating...

@@babycoleangel so good! I just cut the tortillas up into triangles and air fry them for 5-10 minutes. Still working on getting the perfect timing.

So when you do a salad like this for lunch and eat it all week, do you prep five containers on Sunday night, each one having all the ingredients? Or do you keep the individual pre-chopped ingredients in separate containers and assemble each morning?
@PlantBasedDads2 жыл бұрын
I cant prep salads for the week. I have to prep them the night before. I eat the same thing all week when I am not eating salads. For example, this week every day I am eating potatoes, broccoli and sometimes beans on top. I usually run out of my prepared food by Thursday so on Fridays ill have salad. I never prep 5 containers for the week. I always prep one for the next day based the night before. Tim likes to have them all prepared for the week like that.

I’m just like Joey and my hubby is just like Tim. He has to measure everything to a T and I enjoy eyeballing the amounts B/C I can get pretty close to accurate. I also clean up as I go along. Not the hubby. Do it later George. Do it now Julia.😅
