Heavenly Father please continue to protect me and my sons. As a single mother has carried me. Both of my sons are special needs. I’m overwhelmed because I’m struggling to provide the necessities for my sons like food and clothing and I struggle to pay rent each and every single month yet my struggles have brought me closer to Jesus. Thank you Dr. Chidi. We have heard this many, many, many times, but it is always good to hear it again. You are more convincing that I have ever heard it. You have covered all lifestyle changes we should engage in. I have Diabetes, Erectile disfunction, High Blood Pressure and Dementia. I am on my third year and Pills don't work anymore for my ED. From what you have said, it appears I have two years to go before my heart gives up. I come from Kenya where we like "Nyama Choma" (Roast Meat), Ugali and Beer. From your presentation, I will henceforth eat Sukumawiki (Kales), Spinach, Cabbage, berries, Tomato, Plant Milk and any other plan based edibles. I am 66 and I will make another comment again, if I live to be 70 in 2027.

Dr Neal Barnard and dr Klaper both have a fine approach to changing your life style to low fat whole food plant based diet by beginning finding out what you like e.g. 1) oats, berries, organic no sugar soya milk 2) lots of raw and or lightly cook vegetables, choose some Greens, lentils, chickpeas / hummus or Other you like 3) vegetables baked in a Micro oven og cooked as soups and naked or raw fruits without sugar ( appels are Great and taste sweet when bahed in a Microwave oven) - keep moving and walking - 🍀💚

# Red Meat and Cancer: Mechanism Comparison ## Pro-Cancer "Proposed Mechanisms" 1. Heme iron - Hypothesis: May promote formation of carcinogenic N-nitroso compounds - Status: Mechanism proposed, not definitively proven in humans 2. Heterocyclic amines (HCAs) - Hypothesis: Formed during high-temperature cooking, potentially mutagenic - Status: Carcinogenic in animal studies, human evidence limited 3. Polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) - Hypothesis: Formed during grilling/smoking, potentially carcinogenic - Status: Known carcinogens, but direct link to red meat consumption not established Key Limitations: - Lack of identified specific compound in whole food matrix - No demonstrated direct causal pathway in humans - Reliance on epidemiological associations and animal studies ## Anti-Cancer Demonstrated Mechanisms (Trans Vaccenic Acid) 1. T Cell Reprogramming (Nature, 2023) - Mechanism: Inactivates GPR43 receptor, activates cAMP-PKA-CREB pathway - Result: Enhanced CD8+ T cell function against tumors - Status: Demonstrated in vitro and in vivo 2. Apoptosis Induction (Lipids in Health and Disease, 2019) - Mechanism: Decreases p-Akt levels and Bad phosphorylation - Result: Triggers mitochondrial-mediated apoptosis in cancer cells - Status: Demonstrated in nasopharyngeal carcinoma cells 3. Direct Anti-Carcinogenic Effect (Nutrients, 2014) - Mechanism: Multiple pathways including cell cycle arrest - Result: Inhibition of breast cancer cell proliferation - Status: Demonstrated in MCF-7 human mammary adenocarcinoma cells 4. CLA-Independent Anti-Cancer Action (J. Korean Soc. Appl. Biol. Chem., 2014) - Mechanism: Direct effect, not requiring conversion to conjugated linoleic acid - Result: Anti-carcinogenic effect on breast cancer cells - Status: Demonstrated in T47D breast carcinoma cells Key Strengths: - Specific compound (TVA) identified in red meat - Multiple demonstrated causal pathways - Evidence from various cancer types and cell lines - Confirmation in both in vitro and animal studies

I see people recommending going vegan, but there are many, many vegan foods which are highly processed and have a lot of sugar, salt and fat. Eat a whole food plant based diet. I joined a friend’s whole food plant based diet program and after 12 weeks my cholesterol went from 285 to 195. I was almost into the normal blood sugar range from the pre-diabetic range and by my C-reactive protein was as low as detectable. After six months, my A1C was in the normal range. I was no longer pre-diabetic and my cholesterol level continues to decrease. Stress had caused my cholesterol to go from 205 to 285 initially, but since the rest of my numbers were good, the doctor didn’t put me on medication. I now know and so does my doctor, who thankfully is supportive, diet has been a key to these improvements for me. I encourage everyone to adopt these practices. They really work. It’s not always easy, but it will improve and even save your life.

Agree with refined sugar and perhaps dairy causing issues. Most of the eating meat studies are based on epidemiological evidence and includes those that eat burgers, pizza, lasagna etc as meat eaters. I unfortunately was on a vegetarian diet after watching game changers and my health got worse, the carnivore diet has reversed a number of my health issues and has done the same for so many people. Meat is not the problem. Sugar is the main culprit in most health issues.
