Maybe add some rocks by your clematis to prevent any more accidents. Love the way you put the plants in the ground with no fertilizer or fresh soil and they all seem to survive. Way to go Jes!!

Maybe continue rock edge infront of arch/ honey suckle to protect it from weed whipping

All those butterflies were magical! It would be neat if you dug up the clematis that is next to the honeysuckle and plant it so it can climb up the dead tree.

Beautiful butterfly garden! You need to fertilize. You need to fertilize your annuals since they only have a few months to show off. But I also do a spring fertilization on my perennials. You should see my Impatiens!

I must try this honeysuckle! Maybe try lining the inside of the arch with rocks to hinder the weed whipper?

I feel your pain r/ the gentleman and the “trimming”! Same thing happened to me with yard crew! The thing a responsible gardener needs to do is clean an area around the Clematis and mark it with a decorative metal flower stake. Blame it on the bunnies!😄

Jes, it is hard to explain, but your sweet spirit is so uplifting and soothing. Walking with the butterflies and Jes was like Disney, and Snow White let us tag along to see her buddies! Now to work in my garden.
