You never told or showed us the result of the Kola Nut. Did you manage to get it grow? Heard only grow in tropical places especially Africa. Please share because I am planning to plant one

Did you achieve?

Pete Kanaris planted Kola nuts. 30 day later the fully grown trees were overloaded with sealed cans of Coke, Coke Classic, and Diet Coke, all on the same tree. With no water or fertilizer.

@davidthegood5 жыл бұрын
They have a crunch, like biting into an avocado pit. Then they taste like burned green beans mixed with cheap, bitter instant coffee crystals. After about five minutes of chewing, the flavor starts to sweeten.
@LisaCupelli5 жыл бұрын
@@davidthegood well you said that in the video but I was wondering if they had "side effects"... I absolutely love the extreme nature of your description.... But are they silly beans? Thanks David! PS my cassava is growing nicely and my banana stand is beautiful! My malanga is going crazy and my miracle trees are spindly ...

They make you feel great. Loaded with caffeine and theobromine (which is the stimulant in chocolate). Rather like drinking a strong mocha, but no crazier than that.

You mentioned the second stimulant in kola nuts. Coca leaves likewise have a wide variety of active chemicals beyond just cocaine. These poor neglected stepchildren chemicals of plants never get the fanfare of their notorious brethren, but often play major roles in the traditional medicinal uses. Your little nursery looks ready to transform your new land.
@davidthegood5 жыл бұрын
I agree. There are a lot of decent uses that get overshadowed by the major drug portion.

It still contains coca leaf but the caine is taken out and sold to the pharm industry (for various uses) and replaced with caffeine. And I believe that kola is still part of the flavor and likely the caffeine also.

Funny thing, I can put seeds in top of the line store bought potting soil, lightly water, keep in a cool shady spot for filtered light or inside under growlux lights or with a flat glass lid and viola!....nothing, not a damn thought of a sprout. Three weeks later I carefully remove soil little by little to find rotted or dried up use-to-be seeds. Are you sure your not buying these plants from somewhere secretly?
