What is the best distance between trees? Is it possible to grow on 2 metres?
@wegrow4653 Жыл бұрын
To reach a diameter of 40cm and more, a Paulownia tree needs at least a area of 25m2. If you want to have a pre-harvest with smaller diameters you can plant the trees as close as 4x3 or 5x3 meters. But when the completion for light starts, you must start thinning. If no thinning is planned, we recommend a spacing of the trees in a distance of 5x5 meters. Please contact us if you have any furthers questions: info@wegrow.de

Hi. Humid tropical and subtropical climate is perfect to grow the Kiri Tree for timber production. If you have enough rainfall, you don’t need to invest into an expensive irrigation system. If you send us your location, we can tell you more precisely if your spot is suited to grow Paulownia. Send send us an email to info@wegrow.de and one of our growing experts will get back to you. How many years it takes to be mature
@wegrow46536 жыл бұрын
Neverland Hi. The needed time till harvest depends on: usage of the wood, kind of variety/clone, climate, level of professionality of cultivation. Our plantations usually need 9-12 years in colder climate like Germany and 5-7 years in hot climate with irrigation in Spain and Italy.

Hi. Row distance is 4m and distance of trees in the row is 3m or 4m. Usually plantations are set up 4x4, 4x5 or 5x5m. As the hybrid Phoenix One(r) has a very narrow crown, we can plant it 4x3m.
