Planting Primula japonica 'Miller's Crimson' | Plants for Moist Soil | Growing Candelabra Primulas

In this video we are planting one of our favourite candelabra primulas - Primula japonica 'Miller's Crimson'. This is a very beautiful primula with whorls of crimson flowers in late spring to early summer.

That's a pretty little plant Andrew. I've only ever grown the standard Primulas. Vine weevils are a pain aren't they? One of my Heucheras got attacked and just came away in my hand. They cause havoc in our gardens but the birds love them.

We lost all our primulas, which were growing in small pots due to these little creatures, although I find them cute. We just collect them and put them somewhere safe where they can't do damage to plants. They do. It truly is the circle of life. This Primula is a lovely one. I really recommend it to anyone. It's gorgeous 😀 xx
