So the scraping action you call ditching is about improving surface water flow to tiling. I grew up where we had many canal based flood irrigated fields in ID (as well as deep well hand and wheel line). With center pivots, not sure how things have changed... I'd seen them level out a field to dry up some pockets as well as extend the eveness of water distribution and I figured that's what it was all about. thx for taking time to explain Chet. Yeah you should have had that during planting season once you got your ab line set you can put it in Auto and it will lift it put it down turn the tractor on the headlands and do everything you don't even have to touch the steering wheel to your done

Thanks for the video. The 8rx you have on demo is a beast. Lots of extras on that one. The seat is something else. The options you can get now days is out of site. You would have to really study the order book when getting a new tractor to make sure you had what you wanted. You dirt machine is doing a good job for conditions. Chet I noticed you reached inside the new ditcher to remove some frozen mud while the fan wheel was still in motion, I know you know what you are doing, but my Dad who was very experienced in his craft lost his complete right hand doing a similar thing you did in this video, I just don't want to see you get hurt always safety first I enjoy your videos very much keep bringing them and we will keep watching...
