1 Gallon of Flex Blue
Lowes:
2 Gallons of VM&P
When thinning your own Plasti Dip be sure to use 1 gallon of thinner (Xylene, Toluene, or VM&P) for every gallon of un-thinned Plasti Dip you use. This means 1 to 1 ratio or 1:1
I prefer to use un-thinned Plasti Dip with UV Protection as an alternative to pre-thinned RDS(Rubber Dip Sprayable). I think the added pigments in RDS are great which is why I add pigments to my own Plasti Dip jobs, but I am able to save about $70-$100 per job by thinning Plasti Dip myself.

how is uv self thinned dip lasting for you guys who have tried it?

+kraiden3 Just to follow up with you, I'm sure you know that self thinned is tough to peel after 5-6 months and can lose some of its color after 3-4 months. My color looks like the day I put it on, (after a full summer of south mississippi heat), and I will be doing a long term video of removing it after a year. I have also done some peeling on other vehicles after a full summer, and it came off very easy.

+iamthepuzzleman So I did my first car with self thinned with normal plasti dip gloss over it. peeled, not all in 1 clean sheet but took about 40 minutes to get it all off. I then got the florecent concentrate buy 1 get 1 free from AWHF and applied it to a young ladies car in may. I tried to peel it this weekend and it wouldnt peel AT ALL. So out of my 2 experiments with self thinned one was a pass one was a fail... i wanted to know others results. Thank you sir

+kraiden3 I will say, from personal experience, that florecent is total junk, the pigments being the worst part. I did 1 video on it, and will never touch it again. Self thinned is good for SHOOOORT term use. need to go to a car show for a weekend etc. after that, get it off your car. Self thinned with UV is definitely going to hold your color longer, and the reports I am getting is it is much easier to peel. the difference is the UV protection. BUT, I will be doing that peeling video after 1 year just to show my personal results. And finally florecent is good for the garbage can.
