would be great, but it needs to be mixed with other components that must stay separate until ready to use. Your best bet would be to do your wheels, mix up the dip armor and then put it in a preval spray can which costs about $5.

In all fairness to the straight performance series, that torture test would have left marks on a $10,000 paint job. Sure it could be buffed out but you would still see it. That being said its awesome that this company refuses to stop innovating and making the product better. From the diy gun kits to the performance series and now to dip armour, it's astounding. This i believe will be the thing that gets me to dip my car. Gotta save some coin but it is truly a game changer. Outstanding job guys (and gals, im sure). And am i crazy to think that it gives just a little more shine and pop?

the stickler in me wants the test to be done on two different body panels, both painted in the blackest black in order to compare scratch resistance. The hardness of it is what has really sold me. I wasnt expecting you to be lying about its scratch resistance, but I was NOT expecting it to perform THAT well. This alone seriously makes it a game changer for dip IMO. Takes it from just something to change the color of your car for fun and cheap, and turns it into a serious protection package. I already dipped my beater once before just for the fun of it, but now I am interested in dipping my collectable vehicle to protect the paint, especially during winter.

Dip Armor is going to drastically increase the life span of a dipped car. Even outside of all the benefits mentioned in the video, it increases UV protection as well.

I’ve been going through your vids as I’m interested in dipping my car. I clicked on this video from one of your old ones (about 10 years ago) about how to wash your dipped car. In that one you say don’t use microfiber on dip because it’ll leave fibers everywhere and to use the rubberized rag you no doubt sell. In this one you say to use a microfiber. So, is the formula better now or what?

Yes this was on the RS7. However you do not add the pearls into the Dip Armor. Dip Armor has it's own MidCoat Gallon that you use in place of DipPearl TopCoat. Please check out the User Guide located in the description box above. Lots of info there!

protip: take a piece of vinyl wrap and stick it to the inside of your handles. that way the constant friction from grabbing the handle wont start rolling the dip on ya *edit: stick vinyl on after you dip of course

It isn't really noticeable during day to day use - if anything after hours in the sun it may feel just a little less "hard" to the touch. However when you peel the coating, the heat makes a big difference.
