How do i make one out of cardboard? Because the one i got was made from cowhide leather

yeah its really tight for the Cold Steel one. how should I shave the edge its harder than it seems or do i need some sort of tool?

you wont be able to shave the bokken down you will have to do the inside of the Saya, might not have made that part very clear, sorry, hope this helps!

@@EnsoMartialArts heres an update so I shaved some bit off and its still tight for the cold steel bokken. My opinion: not for cold steel bokken unless I have to shave a lot more off? that being said its good for the cold steel polypropylene wakizasahi

Is it the same as the jukado saya plastic and can that be used for the cold steel bokken propylene

These are very slightly tight for the coldsteel bokken, only in the closest bit to the guard though, just where the plastic turns in. It can be easily shaved to make a perfect fit. It will be a little loose for wooden bokken though.

Not sure about the Fujimae Bokken, never seen them, the Cold Steel Bokkens which I assume are similar are a little tight but they do go in

Why dont you buy fujimae saya then? They are cheap. I ordered Fujimae bokken with fujimae saya so they fit.

I have a similar saya to this one. Do you know how to clean the inside of this saya? Whenever I unsheathe my cold steel bokken, the blade is always dirty, so I wanna know how I can clean the inside to prevent this

Tip the saya upside down and use a vacuum on it, maybe wash it out? I dunno lol

Maybe get a towel, twist it and basically shove it in and out untill all clean

We buy them unbranded but they appear to be exactly the same from what I can see online, they fit all standard wooden bokken and the cold steel unbreakable bokken, thanks

@@EnsoMartialArts thst is awesome, i just got cold steel bokken and was looking for saya. Cost of shipping is a bit lower at your store than from amazon (at least for Serbia) so i think i will purchase it from enso martial arts, since they are preety much the same thing. Thanks!

Can please somebody help me? I bought cold steel wakizashi bokken and now i'm trying to find a plastic saya for it, but all i can find is 43cm saya. But lenght of wakizashi blade is 53cm. Is there any suitable variants?

Hello, there aren't really plastic saya for these, your best bet is to get a normal plastic saya and cut it down to size.

They are extreamly tight, we struggle to get them on in here but the will go.
