About This Series:
The intent of these four FlexoGurukul, 2014 talks on ink, plates, tape and anilox rolls is to illustrate the tremendous variability in materials that we have to control and why we have to have controls in place, if we expect predictable, repeatable and productive results.
In October, 2014, I'll delve into controlling the two main types of color reproduction in the pressroom: spot color and process color. We will learn ink formulation, working off surplus inks, documentation of important variables through the workflow, including for four-color process printing and create color standards.
In 2015, the final two sessions will be held and we'll cover topics such as: the flexo workflow, fingerprinting and characterizing a flexo press.

you mention about anilox rolls in the info. but where are the anilox rolls videos?

They're on my laptop's hard drive! :) I am putting the videos up at a rate of about one every two or so days. It's a very time consuming process, and I can only allocate so much time to it per week. I'll put them up as soon as I can and I hope you benefit from them. Gamer? Me too, sort of. I'm a FPS guy, when I have a little time. Have a nice day!

uglyflexo i will sure benefit from them, like i did from your other videos! :) Yes a gamer but no time the last weeks, im kinda in love in my new wide web flexo press :P spending more time at work than home. Miraflex CM 10 color with speeds up to 500 mpm. :)

Pilek01 Nice machine. I like W&H. I've operated a couple and supervised in a pressroom with two Novoflexes. The Novos maxed out at at about 350 mpm. Don't smother your new love! ;)
