I would add "Online" to that list. Brad is always able to get some big stars to act in his videos. William Shatner and the guy who played George on Seinfeld - his name escapes me right now. Also maybe the mom from Everyone Loves Raymond? I can't remember for sure. But it is a great video

My Daddy fished every chance he got, and when us kids were grown, Mom started going with him. When I was a kid, our vacations were always camping trips to some lake or river, and Daddy and I would be out on the water in his boat before 5 am. I really miss him so much. I am 63 years old and there is a small pond behind our property that is stocked every year. I take my 8 and 6 year old grandsons there to fish. Kids nowadays have a hard time sitting still and being quiet, and learning to enjoy it. We all need that sometimes.

Growing up in the 60s Dad had a plaque in the family room that said, "Old fishermen never die....they just smell that way." Dad liked to fish so Mom started going with him and she became a pretty good fisherwoman. Some of my fondest memories are fishing with my family. ❤

Fishing saved my marriage! When i quick drinking cold 17 years ago this coming October.. i NEEDED something to occupy my mind SOBER.. I went back to my youthful passion of fishing bass. Bought me a used 18 ft bass boat and a property on the river. Now i'm covered in labels on my jersey and stickers on my boat that pay all my fishing costs and yournament entries. All my lady says when i'm taking off at 2am for tournament "i love you. Give em hell. Call me each day when the boat is trailered and you are on land." EVERY TIME!

That's the first song of Brad I've heard back then. Became a fan instantly. If you enjoy Alabama (Dixieland Delight, Mountain Music and Song of the South are great ones), then his love letter to them "Old Alabama" is worth a listen. Brad is in my opinion also one of the best guitar players in Country. My favorite would be Jerry Reed.

7:11 the banjo player on Brad’s right side was in a group with his brothers back in the 90s called The Marcy Brothers. The record “Achy Breaky Heart” around the same time Billy Ray Cyrus did but they called their song “Don’t Tell My Heart”. Some of their songs are on KZbin. One of his brothers is in this video playing a security guard on Jerry Springer Show hes the guy behind Jerry at 7:19. When Brad performed where they started their careers he let them do an opening act for the locals.

Country music has always had its fun side, witness one of Jimmie Dickens' hits from 1965, "May The Bird Of Paradise Fly Up Your Nose." Brad Paisley has another fun song on the same general theme of "guyness", named "I'm Still A Guy." Then there's his much sweeter one about the distaff side, "Waiting On A Woman", with Andy Griffith in the official video. All great stuff.

Brad Paisley's wife played on the TV series...According to Jim starring Jim Belushi. Brad's wife in this video, Kimberly Williams was that show. She was the sister-in-law to Jim. Brad even done a couple of cameos on that. I think because of her, but I always forget to check if he met her on that show, but I believe it was because they were together in real life!! ❤

With apologies to him, the short man is "Little Jimmy Dickens" affectionately known as "Tater." He is a country music legend from back in the 50s, 60s and "Hee Haw." Funny as hell, too, so I'm sure Brad had no problem hooking him into this. Very early in his career, Brad was best known for his humorous songs - lots more out there to find, gentlemen.

My grandfather was a commercial fisherman, and when we were little, we found a little statue that reads quote " The fisherman he fishes in the morning , and he fishes in the evening, and he fishes, and fishes and all he catches is hell from his fed Up wife!" While my grandparents are no longer with us today, We honored them both on their grave marker " Gone Fishing"!

He and his wife do a lot of charity work and started Brad Paisley Celebrity invitational fishing tournament for St. Jude, supports Michael J Fox's Foundation for Parkinson's Disease, among lots of others.
