My wife and a couple other couples went to see him a few years back in Columbus Ga. I didn’t realize how bad the seat were. They sold tickets basically behind the stage. The sound was so horrible a few of us went down a few rows and sat on the stairs. At the end of the concert he apologized and they called out the sections and asked us to stay after the event. Everyone was lead back stage where everyone got to talk to the whole band takes pictures etc. it was really something special. He is not only a great talent but a better human being.

Chris was a decorated song writer in nashville, but crippling anxiety kept him from performing. His wife convinced him to do it, but he needed her to be on stage with him to keep him calm.

He brought back the old country sound. Omg! I love listening to him. When I first heard him, I seriously thought ole Willie’s voice changed a lil bit. But now we know “Who’s going to fill their shoes?” (George Jones) OMG! Old country just hit different. Johnnie Cash, Merle Haggard, Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings, Loretta Lynn, Dolly, Kenny Rogers, the Statler Brothers, Alabama, Patsy Cline, Conway Twitty Tammy Wynette. Check out Ray Stevens the squirrel went berserk. Hilarious!

Bro, I really appreciate your honesty of all types of music. I stop listening when artists are like “it’s rap or it’s trash” or “it’s country or it’s garbage”. I love and appreciate good music and good voices of any genre. I have lived in Arkansas my whole 42 years, and we have a melting pot of all kinds of music thankfully.

Watching your amazement and the disbelief that you in not exploring Chris sooner. Chris as a solo artist just brings his heart and soul out for all the hear and see. He in my opinion is going to be remembered for generations to come.

8:18 It was a country song, originally. Chris made it blusy - now everyone covers his version, but no one does it better. Chris also plays the lead guitar. His wife, Morgan Stapleton, sings beautiful harmony.
