That Thrasios Kraum deck is really sick. You guys should submit it to the DDB, the previous Thrasios Kraum list got removed. There was a 404 error on the primer for it. It would be awesome to see it on the DDB again

Unfortunately it's an awful format. However, there's a competitive 2v2 variant that's quite good, essentially you sit opposite your partner and don't have shared turns or life totals. I might have to push for our next collab to be something like that.

I've tried constructed two-headed giant in several formats including EDH, and unfortunately it's not so fun. Often, the rules make it so that no cards can be shared between teammates' lists. Even then, the correct strategy is usually to have one all-in fast combo player with little protection or interaction at all and one all-in control or stax player with no wincons at all.

what a game! Am I wrong here? Once Mana Crypt triggers, damage kills cob and the turn ends as a state-based action (18:25). So the only window to activate Thrasios is with Mana Crypt still on the stack

Can someone explain why the second flusterstorm didn't shut down the first flusterstorm that was cast on that day stack?

Flusterstorm only counters unless the opponent can pay mana for it. Cobblepots fluster had all its copies targeting evolution, cams fluster had each of his copies target one of cobbles copies. Cobble paid 1 mana enough times for x number of his flusters to not get countered, allowing them to successfully counter evolution (cam had spent all his mana at this point and couldn't simply pay to prevent cobbles surviving flusters)

6:10 I FELT THAT A couple month ago i played a game with my Kaervek (yeah, casual.) It went bonkers good. During the (almost) winning turn, the only counterspell in my opponents' hands got thrown at me. I just went "ah, damn" FORGETTING that i literally just put a Imp's Mischief in my deck. I could have sacrificed two more creatures with Razaketh for Dark Ritual and the Mischief and WON. But i literally forgot about that and I lost a turn later. It still hurts :(

Flusterstorm's effect is to counter a spell UNLESS it's controller pays 1. Cam was out of mana, so I paid for enough of his Fluster copies to ensure Evolution got countered.
