Nick Fazekas recently retired and ended his career in the Japanese B.League he was a second round pick (34th) in that 2007 draft where Kevin Durant got drafted. Fazekas was drafted by the Mavericks but waived to make room for trades. After playing for the Los Angeles Clippers half of the season which the team didn't retain him. Fazekas played in europe then back to the NBA's G league. He spended the rest of his career with the Toshiba Kawasaki Brave Thunders for 12 years until his retirement in May of this year. Yuta Watanabe also rejected his contract with Memphis to play for the rest of his career in his homecountry Japan.

How can you have a video about players in the Japanese B League and not mention Josh Hawkinson?? He averaged 21 and 11 in the WC on 60% shooting

Need to update the Kai Sotto part, He played for the Yokohama B-corsairs after Yokohama bought him from Hiroshima Dragonflies via loan mid season. With Yuki Kawamura and their duo was really fun to watch. In Yokohama the 7'3 Filipino average around 13 PPG, 7RPG, 1BLK with a playing time of 20MinPG.

Not this time we have a 'brazil mentioned'. But we have 2 player in Japan: Léo Meindl and Tim Soares. I hope that, one day, you guys take a look at our domestic league: NBB.

you need to highlight taiwan leagues. We currently have 3 leagues and demarcus cousins and dwight howard have played there. Though our basketball players on homegrown soil have been stagnant in development, the passion and money flooding into the game is more and more

B. league sponsoring this couple of videos?

That feels likely. I know in the US people are legally obligated to disclose when their videos are sponsored, but the rules are probably different in Lithuania.

Not here to insult nor criticise but speaking facts. A lot of them playing in NBA? As a longtime NBA fan, don’t know all of them. Perhaps they were the no.9/10 player in their team back in NBA. Y’all should watch CBA or even Taiwan leagues now. They have the most former NBA players who actually were key bench players or even starter back in their NBA days. Bledsoe, Bacon are among the top former NBA players in CBA now. Cousins, JLin and Daye among the best former NBA players in Taiwan now. And Dwight will back to Taiwan league in July. But like I always said, kudos to any former NBA players who willing to step out of comfort zone and willing to accept their current status to play outside of NBA, big respect!

I love how Filipino players have special mentions (not like in a collective mention such us Europeans/Americans/NBA) as if they are a powerhouse in terms of Basketball 🤣
@athenstar107 ай бұрын
They are a powerhouse, in Asia. Filipinos compose majority of JBL's Asian imports. In case you're not aware, there 2 types of imports in Bleague, Asian imports and international imports( obviously non- Asians). Individually, Filipinos are talented, they just need to have the right coach to use their talent properly.

Mass exodus of young Filipino talent from the homeland to the B. League.. And some folks like myself are not even mad about it. Because the country’s own PBA is garbage, yet they keep denying it!
