B.s. this story was not real. Yes birds will bond with their human family. No they don't snap out of having been in a traumatic situation. Trauma doesn't instantly heal. These are australian birds and though so glad this family took in feather, seeing these beautiful majestic. in the wild withtheir flock is so preferable. People don't realise these birds live for longer than most hu and live their best life in australia with theibird friends. I hope Sophia always looks after beautiful feather- and I hope people stop kepping birds as pets. They belong in nature, not in a house.

They really had to trust the bird to let the bird be so close some birds aren’t as nice as this wonderful bird. Right now I’m working a sanctuary with an umbrella cockatoo like this one and the the bird absolutely loves my daughter that I work with she loves her so much that she protects my daughter from me . If I’m in the one with her I’m being stocked by the bird . Cockatoos need a lot of attention possibly too much for some people. But you get what you put into the relationship.

It’s fun watching women at end of pregnancy start nesting. The nurture instinct gets so strong. My wife brought in a kitten two weeks before delivering. This kitty bonded hard to my little son. My daughter got a long haired chihuahua a couple of months before having my granddaughter. This dog is inseparable from her.

It‘s pretty cute to watch but please please please never trust a wild animal and every parrot is still a wild animal. A lost eye, a bit off finger,….could change everything for that little girl and of course for the parrot too

Lovely video but I had trouble getting past 2 minutes due to the background music. A bit too much for too long. It wears me out after a while; especially the 'plinky' sounding 'instruments' like piano or piano-ish. That kid style tune is also a bit much to take w/o a break. The Dodo had some videos where they have about a minute 20 of a similarly irritating song but it changes to something more soothing instead of persisting incessantly throughout. The voice over is also a bit monotonous. It seems a little too AI written in content that cannot carry one forward for very long as AI still rambles like a high school textbook.
