The game would be 10 times better if we got a NexGen upgrade, and it will be more better if people actually ran older content because you queue up for a raid or duo or a alert, can you sit there and wait anywhere from 10 minutes to an hour trying to find people to play with. And another thing that bothers me is the fact that there are hundreds and thousands of people who just sit in the watchtower to just stare at each other for hours. They mainly do it because they grind all the content they have everything in the game and they only get on to look at each other.

This is a terrible take. If you inspect many of the loiters, many if not most of them, are almost max level fully geared out

most of people already have the older content style man, also nowadays people mindset in this game are getting into maximum cr and max damage. nowadays dcuo are getting easier to get to the max cr that is why most of them aren't queue up for the old content. Also the mindset to become the highest CR has been applied to the newbie so most of the newbie aren't knowing there are a tons of old contents in the game, even if they know they're just lazy to queue up because of long time for searching players. I also agree that dcuo itself spotlighting the old content for double source marks. (all of it are just my opinion btw)

The next gen upgrade was probably neglected mainly because of older players unable to update upgrade their platforms. That being said you can give the devs props for that

One of the best games I played at the time, I stopped a long time ago, I think it was when the highest level was 120, it was really fun and nostalgic, and the freedom to go wherever you wanted was amazing.

Yeah quite a lot of grinding and tho I missed quite a lot of content since I only stopped playing at level 30

They can save the game by letting ppl do weekly raid as daily, and shorten old alert raid content travel length. Old content tend to have so much puddle of adds to kill and wait until next boss, latest mmo are ditching these mechanic. Remove repeatitive click mechanic which newer players tend not even bother to do it and wipe.

Something I think DC should do is try to advance the frame rate limit of the game. Right now it's 60 no matter what platform you play on. But I think It should be brought to 120 or even 144. Even if it is an old game.
