Great video guy! I'm not sure if every generation feels like this but for me being 33 and experiencing the release of N64 as a child, the release of the Harry Potter books as a kid/teen and the experiencing the golden years of the Simpsons as they happened felt like such luck and an absolute blessing. Late 80s kids must have been born at the best time eh?

That control scheme that you had an issue with on Turok is how the game played on the N64 controller as well - I believe you used the C buttons to move and the joystick to look around. It was confusing as hell at first and then it was amazing! I played this game for countless hours.

One of the best things bout N64 was the option to give us true Left Hand controls for FPS games. I loved using the C-Buttons for Movement/Strafe and the Analog Stick for Aiming/Turning. With Inverted Look Controls, too. It was perfect. FPS games nowadays don't give us that option anymore, well barely. The last game I played that allowed me to fully customize my control scheme to Left Hand was Overwatch.

I remember queueing up outside Woolworths on March 1st for this so glad it was released on a Saturday. Was annoyed that Turok came out a few days later for some reason.
