Firewatch is an adventure game developed by Campo Santo and published by the developer in partnership with Panic. The game was released in February 2016. The story follows a fire lookout named Henry who works in Shoshone National Forest, a year after the Yellowstone fires of 1988. A month after his first day at work, strange things begin happening to him and his supervisor Delilah, which connects to a conspired mystery that happened years ago. The game received generally positive reviews, earning praise for its story, characters, dialogue, and visual style, yet the presence of technical issues and the game's ending were both subjects of criticism. Firewatch won the award for Best 3D Visual Experience at the Unity Awards 2016, Best Indie Game at the 2016 Golden Joystick Awards, Best Narrative at the 2017 Game Developers Choice Awards and Debut Game at the 2017 British Academy Games Awards. By late 2016, the game had sold over a million copies.

Firewatch was a great game, nice and simple with an engaging story. If you haven't already, you should check out Night in the woods, its another fairly short story based game and it was one of my favorites

YESSSS! FIREWATCH! I was thinking, before I saw this video. People don't appreciate content creators too often. I would like to write an appreciation post here. You have now uploaded 96 episodes of Breath Of The Wild, you also upload 2 videos a day and stream. I think you're doing great. I found your channel from Breath Of The Wild. I was in my second (technically second and a half) playthrough of that game after taking a break from it since 2019. I started over completely for Tears Of The Kingdom. I finished the playthrough the same day it released for me. During my playthrough I found yours and watched it while I was finishing up mine. In your playthrough I even found some things I haven't discovered amongst my own playthrough. I love Breath Of The Wild so much more than when I first played it, even though I still loved the game back then. I even went back and watched some older playthroughs, I watched your Portal & Portal 2 playthroughs, some of the co-op, I watched a few episodes of Subnautica, and like the first episode of Inscryption. It took me a while but I caught up with the BOTW series not too long ago and now I've been watching along each day. I think you were already about ~60 episodes in when I caught up, probably ~50 episodes when I started. TLDR; you're doing great and your content is very enjoyable, thank you for the consistent and enjoyable uploads! Now I'm going to watch this video lol

I already watched the VOD on twitch, but I was so happy to see that you played this game!! This is a really great playthrough. It's also no surprise that it took you two streams. I remember when I was watching the VOD, I had the thought "oh he is not gonna finish this today" and I looked at the timestamp and it was only 30 minutes in. I think you hadn't even gotten to the fire tower yet. You just have a certain way of playing video games. 😅 But it's so much fun to watch! You give everything lots of time and appreciation.

ahh I'm so excited this is my absolute favorite game of all time! I love the heart they put into it! tbh I think Firewatch has one of the most unique main characters of any game. For starters he is an older man which most games your main character is either a teenager or young adult as well as the fact that he is just an everyday person.

okay FINALLY , so... Thank you for playing the game the way God intended it to be and that way would be to take your time , explore and talk to Delilah about every single thing. I watched so many streamers and famous KZbinrs just speed run the game like bruh this isn't that TYPE of a game to be doing so so thank you also would like to mention how you like subtle details like the screen going cinematic lines in the crucial plot points I thought that was a neat touch also you wanting to go meet Delilah early in the game I couldn't figure out why other other people who played it didn't want to even if they saw her lookout tower and just looking into ity bity bits of details in general like for example the Ron and Dave notes, I played Firewatch same way you did and other streamers I watched just didn't play the same way and missing out on so much stuff because this isn't a game to be speed-running it's about taking time to explore and converse to Delilah and that is why I got so frustrated and typing out this rant anyway awesome vid mate watched it all 3 hours 33 minutes of it will watch the second part of its entirety too also you earned yourself a new subscriber

This playthrough is an interesting exercise in watching confirmation bias play out. I wonder how things would have gone if you had asked Delilah about the overheard call, if you still would have taken every comment as potential proof of Delilah being an evil mastermind.

I've never played this, am I wrong to trust Delilah a little more? IDK, it seems like she has things to hide but I don't read every single thing she says as manipulative really. Maybe it's just my instinct to "not take the bait" (that the writers laid) and give her the benefit of the doubt, which might be completely wrong. Obviously I'd expect no spoilers just as Ryan does here, thanks
