Basically, the air outside the plane is a lot thinner than on the inside, and there is less oxygen, meaning you will pass out quickly if you do not get oxygen in the case of a hole in the plane. The masks deliver oxygen to the recipient. The pilots will fly the plane to a lower altitude where the atmosphere is thicker. Hope this helps.

as an educator and someone who studies child development, it’s very fascinating to see what kinds of games the kids in the gorilla game came up with themselves, and how popular the game is without having much structure other than ‘be a gorilla’. it’s like playground games in vr. kids are so wildly imaginative. i love how sweet and helpful they were as well

@lemolea9571
@lemolea9571 11 ай бұрын
@@warling5042 I think it's sometimes the case that they're egged on by adults finding it funny/ laughing at them and stuff but I think it's probably like half come from homes and environments where that sort of language is acceptable and the other half mix in with certain online communities/games and end up picking up that aggression and language from the irresponsible toxic adults there. Or at the latter was the case for my younger brother - I came back from university to visit at some point and overheard him saying the sort of things I knew he never would've heard from parents etc, like racial and homophobic slurs and swearing when my dad and stepmum tried very hard to not swear around the kids (and certainly aren't racist of anything), and it turns out he'd been playing cod and fortnite and picked it all up from various voicechats and was now throwing it back. I doubt he even knows what a lot of the words mean. It's such a shame. I'm glad that this community is having a positive effect on the kids that join, it's nice to see.

You don't hear about all the good kind and empathetic kids. All you hear about is the entitled kids and the entitled parents. And it's easy to forget that is the minority. Because even if some of these kids parents aren't good parents. Kids are way more perceptive than we remember. Kids learn quickly that if you're going to be entitled, or mean no one's going to want to play with you. That being a good person makes you friends. It was really sweet honestly

Back in high school I was a K5 helper for my church’s Wednesday night service and this one girl just… attached to me. She was super sweet and brilliant and she always wanted me to pick her up and hold her. One day I did and she wrapped her arms around me to hug me and said “I wish we could go play in the gym, just me and you” and I almost started crying because earlier that evening she told me that her “daddy was in heaven” and that her mom would just drop her off at church by herself on Wednesdays. All that to say that yes, if kids even sense an ounce of kindness in an older person (especially if good adults are in short supply in their life) they will cling to you.

@@Dragon_breeder I'm still only 15 first of all, and I meant more in the sense that kids are accessing the Internet at even younger ages now, yeah kids have always done that but how many kids do you know in real life who like to go around swearing and calling people slurs just because they think it makes them look cool or mature, when in reality it does the exact opposite, there's probably quite a few but not as many as there are on the Internet where no one is supervising them, they can get away with it now. Then when other kids online see THOSE children doing it...they start to do it too it's a chain reaction. I can promise you the amount of kids like that when I was in primary school was very low where as now if you even walk passed a primary school all of them are swearing their heads off and the parents just don't give a shit, the most kids acted like 'adults' when I was around 7..was boasting about how they drank coffee and didn't have a bedtime...

Omg, the gorilla tag part of the video was literally my experience too, and I mean IDENTICAL, as far as the kids are concerned. Like I was terrible at moving with the movement controls. I just could not do it, and then this kid helped me and taught me how to move properly, and he was just so genuinely sweet and patient when I kept falling in this canyon and couldn't get out...I mean I was getting impatient with myself but he wasn't, he would just come down into the canyon whenever I fell.😊 Kid couldn't have been more than eight or nine. It was really sweet and endearing and was pretty great and honestly made me smile. No name-calling, no telling me I sucked or that I was old even though I told them I was an adult, it was just very wholesome 🥰 I had a great experience in there honestly, I know a lot of people don't, but I genuinely did. Maybe it's a miracle or something but I never even heard one racist comment or anything like that. Actually the worst experience was from this kid who was like 13 or so, ironically enough the eldest was the most immature of them all which I mean I guess isn't surprising since teenagers are little shit heads for the most part. He was just provoking the children and it was so ridiculous and just mean, I tried to explain to him as an adult that maybe he should not do that but I doubt I got through

the ratio of racist kids to wholesome ones is something you wouldnt expect, in each lobby you play in its often you find 1-3 racists, and your kid not being one of them shows that although what he is surrounded with, he wont change for them. You are doing a great job at raising him.

Wheel chocks are just little wedges you put under the wheels so the truck doesn’t roll away in case of a brake failure
@Jennaros1ty
@Jennaros1ty Жыл бұрын
@cova8390 it was fairly accurate. What he was doing in the game was called a pre-inspection. In canada we call the pre-inspection a schedule 1 inspection of a.z (air brake) trucks. I would have to rewatch and freeze the screen to see what the inspection was saying, but yeah, we have to check inside (in cab inspection) and outside of the truck (tractor/trailer inspection)
@Jennaros1ty
@Jennaros1ty Жыл бұрын
@soggyrecluse7302 so wheel chocks are blocks that go behind and sometimes in front of the wheels of the trailer, so when we check the neutral gear/ unhooking trailer and backing into a new trailer, the trailer doesn't roll and cause damage. It is like people change car tires you're supposed to put blocks (or chocks) to keep the car from moving

It's a mix, really. I find that most players are decent, but you have a fairly high chance of having at least one toxic idiot in your server. Then again, I mostly play singleplayer games so take that with a grain of salt.

@@Interestking It's funny a lot of people heard those kids and are like "wow, it must not be true that there are toxic child gamers" even though all the kids literally said that there are toxic racists in the game also. @@FrenkTheJoyi didn't see anyone say "there must be NO toxic children because these ones were nice", that would be a misunderstanding on your part. every comment i've seen where people are talking about how surprised they were that these kids were actually polite said they were surprised there *are* kids that are nice too. meaning they expected it to be a bunch of little jerks, and it's nice to know that's not 100% of what you'll run into. literally nobody said they don't exist?

The truck game was most likely 200 dollars because it’s not meant for a single person to purchase but instead a company who can then set it up and train employees with it
@LemonGrinder

Yep, this. Also, these company training courses are always super expensive so they can write it off on their taxes. I've seen places selling a single training DVD for $1000 each, and my workplace's instructor-led online trainings are $250 minimum per person per course.

I thought so also but the incorrect name of items doesn't make sense for a company to use it. There is no way a company would let you learn from a bunch of misworded things. My husband has his CDL and you need to know the actual names for things and where they are and know how to check them. If the name isn't even right how can they learn from it?
