I played so much goat simulator (it came free with a kindle fire) when I was younger that I can say the "queen" mission is literally ripped straight out of goat simulator. I haven't played the game in over 5 years but I recognize that castle interior anywhere. You would go in, fight the queen, and become the queen. And it had the exact same layout with guards and everything. That game was actually insane, there were certain goats we could never unlock and we felt so accomplished when we found one we couldn't figure out

ok so here's the deal from my perspective as someone who has been playing video games for my entire life; if you play and enjoy video games on a regular basis, you're a gamer. doesn't matter if the games you like are "easy" or whatever, what matters is that you enjoy the hobby and engage with it regularly. personally i enjoy all genres and have wildly varying tastes in games. i'll play anything from shooters, horror games, open world games, rpgs, puzzle games, cozy games, literally anything lol. a lot of gamers are just toxic and feel the need to gatekeep the community because they don't like how accessible and mainstream gaming has become in the past decades. they also have a problem with women and minorities joining the community, which also really sucks for obvious reasons. of course not all gamers are like that, but it's a sizeable enough portion of the community for it to be a problem. the youtuber icklenellierose aka ellen rose made some really good videos on this topic years ago and i really appreciate and agree with her perspective on this issue. she really digs deep into gatekeeping and sexism in the gaming community, and how it pushes away people who would otherwise enjoy video games. again, if you play video games, you're a gamer. hope you continue to have fun and enjoy gaming, don't let the gatekeeping assholes ruin it for you just because you don't like fifa or cod or whatever lol.
