Hi Anthony, I think there is one more triad, the sus triad 1-4-5, it sounds really good, I use it a lot, what do you think? Cheers!

Triads imply stacked 3rds, so a 1-4-5 wouldn’t technically “qualify” as a triad. I definitely like the sus shape a ton, but it doesn’t have a specific tonality (basically what a sus chord does haha). So, as far as basic triads go, I’ll always refer to just the 4 mentioned in the video.

@@AnthonyMuthurajah when I learned the triad structure it implied three notes not necessarily stacked in thirds, also when you do the triad inversions there are 4ths, 6ths, tritons etc. I’m not sticking to the traditional way of thinking, there is also a very nice triad 1-2 (9)-5 which I also use a lot and sounds amazing, it is a personal desicion, I guess because they are real, hahaha, cheers!
