@@TooManyProjectsTooLittleTimeuranium ore isn’t bio-available in your gut you would have to worry about inhaling it and the radiation before worrying about it poisoning you. Also as you mentioned, the radioactivity produced from the U238 in the ore is not that much that sounding like 1k-3k cpm assuming you calibrated the Geiger Müller tube with U you maybe received 100μSv per 1 hour of exposure about a 1/10th of the exposure of a dental xray
