it is now my go-to device for gaming. It is so much better than sitting in front of a big TV, I can move around, have a couple of coffee. I wish there is such lightweight streaming device for my PC.

I just got one and was worried about the connection issues and audio quality, both better than what people are saying. I think there have been a lot of updates since the release that helps. I'm old-school and miss couch play 😂. So with this ,my wife and I can games and be in the same room and not use mics. I love it much better than the backbone or Nexus 2.

Agreed! It’s amazing what we can do with gaming nowadays! Great device that I take on work trips and the in-laws. Definitely better and more comfortable than the backbone. Hopefully they add some quality of life updates also. It can only get better!

Both my switch(it was the non-oled Mario edition that came out several years ago) and steam deck came with cases.

That’s interesting. Did you by chance by a bundle? Because I did not get a case for my non OLED switch. I remember buying it. I don’t have a steam deck to go off of…

@@InfinniteLife That particular switch was a special edition that came with a red body, red dock, red joy cons, blue and yellow joycon attachments and a special Mario case. As far as the steam deck, though, all of those come with a case.

Hi, great review...was wondering if you need to have your ps5 on sleep mode in order to connect my portal to it when I'm away from my home?

Hey thanks for watching! To answer your questions, YES! Your PS5 needs to be in sleep mode at home. So whenever you startup your Ps Portal and try to connect, it will send a signal to your console at home, wake it up, and then screen mirror your console. When you are done playing make sure to put your console to sleep and not shutdown. Only through sleep mode can you remote play. Turning it off will prevent the ps portal from waking it up!

Agreed. Just the ease of portability and not having to carry and charge multiple items just to play is awesome! chill and Indy games are great on this handheld. I’m really enjoying playing the new prince of Persia.

Please please tell me if you go through PS Portal to the PS5's Settings > Accessibility > Display and Sound > Color Corection does it work? Is changing colors working on Portal screen?

I can check and get back to you on that, I’ve never tried it. Can I ask why you want to change colors? What are you trying to achieve. Asking so I can test it out for you.

​@@InfinniteLife i returned my ps portal, cuz i was too frustrated that blue color was not intense like on my TV (it got me particular in the beggining of FF XV at Hammerhead, when i had at the same time portal turned on and my tv. on tv sky was nicely vibrant blue, but on portal greyish blue :( i returned portal, but later found this setting on PS5. it makes blue increased! if it works on portal, then ill buy it again haha. But on my phone with remote play, that setting does not change phone remoteplay image. Only TV image changes. So please please dear sir, test it out for me :(

@Pako9713 so I tried the settings you mentioned but didn’t notice a difference on the portal. It sounds like you have your TV set to a “vivid” color profile which makes the blues and greens more intense and saturated. The portal doesn’t have have different picture profiles like that. It also depends on the screen tech. OLED tends to be more vibrant. The PS Portal is LCD.

Yes you can! Remember the portal is screen mirroring your console. So any game you can play on your PS5, you can play on the portal!
