How is it a slap in the face? Do you expect companies to bankrupt themselves and customers are not going to buy a dedicated handheld seeing what happened with the PS Vita, also you expect Sony to split there team up to create dedicated games for a handheld, I’m sure you know how business work. You blaming Sony but it came down to us the consumers to how much and what a company can pump out.

This is a PS5 controller with a screen. Used for remote play. That's it. Just because it looks like other handhelds its not fair to bash it. This is a device for someone like me. I don't game for hours and hours. I travel quite a bit. And I game for a few minutes at a time.

I understand what it’s made for it’s for people like u or other people who would like another screen/ to play in bed, ngl I would of brought this in the past cus my vita broke and I used to use that as a screen at times cus the tvs were all taken up, but me and other people wanted another handheld for years just for it to be a 5 remote with a screen it just feels like slap, and plus a legit handheld would have sold more from PlayStation perspective and it could have had remote play and more that’s y many people don’t like it, and I’m not mad at people buying it just not happy wit Sony

id rather buy 3rd party controller snd put it on phone. then play ps remote with it. i hear sony did released the controller for android and iphone called backbone controller

I think the backbone is more worth it, it’s 100 dollars or less than the new ps portal

Your gonna stop using the backbone In a short period of time. Not the best experience with ease of use.
