Ai rejection is not what you explained in thia Vid, bro. It's blocking feedback from your end of the mic when chatting with folks online. Does good to muffle heavy breathing, chips bag ruffling. And fan noise to the point of being nearly non-existent for others to hear

I Purchased a pair of these not long after the release and the sound quality is great and enhance gameplay sound however they have currently a major flaw which is they keep disconnecting. During gameplay they will disconnect and reconnect one or 2×1 to 2 hour session and at times they will also disconnect and not reconnect at all unless rebooting the PS five. There needs to be an update so that The disconnecting issue is resolved

Sadly i always end up with earache using earbuds. Tried them all big buds small buds. Over hear for me. These look good though

I’m the exact opposite Droide! I’ve tried all overhead incl. Apple AirPods Max and HATE all over ear for some reason! Earbud all the way for me and you’re right, the Planar Magnetic Drivers on these bad boys are fantastic!

The Pulse Elites will be out iirc next year. They also use planars but they’re over ear.

Are you having any random disconnecting ar reconnecting while playing on the ps5? Im getting that with mine so i may do a reset on them and hopefully that will solve it.

Thanks James! Wow that’s a long wait! It’s a bit baffling how Sony released the Portal that NEEDS either these Pulse earbuds or yes the Elite but they weren’t released until way after the Portal launch!

very nice review once again. I have a question. I want a good sound quality for music and movies too so my question is if i connect the usb to my TV will i have the extremely fast response by the buds ? I tried it with other earbuds with Bluetooth but the sound was out of sync. Thanks in advance ❤

Thanks Sok, great question! I don’t think the usb will work with tv, only with PS5 console as stated in vid as I tried connecting usb to my Ally and it didn’t seem to work… however I’ve used Bluetooth with my AirPods direct to my TV and they seem fine for watching films etc so I’m sure the Pulse earbuds will be good too! If I get chance I’ll double check the usb to TV and report back 🙌

Hey Solonas, no the usb only works with PS5 console and cannot be used for any other device like a tv, hope this helps!

My order was delivered yesterday and I'm very disappointed. They sound like airplane headphones. Idk if I'm doing something wrong or if there's some type of settings I'm supposed to mess with. I think I'm returning them. *Update* I changed the tips. They sounded a little bit better. Unfortunately, after a few days, the earbuds started disconecting from the console after about 30 minutes of play times. I searched online for a fix. I tried it. Worked for a while, then they started disconnecting again. I did the fix a second time, and after a few hours, they disconnected again. So I decided to return them. Maybe I was the unlucky fellow that got damaged goods. This was disappointing, I was really looking forward to the buds. Now that I have to wear glasses, the over ear headphones bother me after a few hours of playing.

Ah sad to hear Grab, as mentioned in the vid spend some time making sure you pick the correct tips so they’re nice and tight for optimum sound quality. Also placement of stems is a factor too - I like them pointing down, but I’ve seen other KZbinrs have them pointing forward and even some pointing up! Let us know how you get on 🙌

@PeteTalksTech I changed the tip and compared them to my Gen 2 Turtle Beach Stealth 700 and my Galaxy Buds. I figured out that what I was missing from the Pulse Buds Explore is the bass. I wish it had more *umph* The sound is good, maybe this is as good as it gets for earbuds.

Ah yes others use more bass which may sound better but doesn’t necessarily create an accurate sound environment which these Magnetic Planar Drivers are renowned for… I totally get it though as we’ve been conditioned to think that more bass is best, which is why Beats were so popular back in the day!

I changed my tips to the foam ones from my Sony xm4 buds and it transformed the sound! The bass is so much better! I was so disappointed when I first tried them, they did sound like airplane headphones!

Hey Bradley, you’re right that it is a shame no ANC… but as I mentioned in the vid, using the correct tight ear tip and also the AI Noise Rejection together while not quite on ANC levels, they do a great job of removing outside noise…
