The Plaza used to have the best fries, but they changed to the regular thin park fries everywhere else. The Plaza Club was my favorite thing there. We do love this place. Excited to have breakfast there for the first time in September.

Those prices are INSANE, even for Disney. $19 for a sub, $22 for Mac and Cheese, and a burger. Ridiculous! Disney is expensive, you are gonna have a $14 burger there. But not $22! Sheesh, even the deserts are OP, more expensive than Sanaa!

We ate there for breakfast in January and we thought it was very good. I had the steak and it was huge...enough for 2 of us honestly. We booked again for June.

I had a bad experience at The Plaza and haven’t been back. A server spilled an entire bowl of that tomato soup down my back. It ruined my shirt and shorts. It really was a spectacle.

We ate here two weeks ago and had a terrible experience. We had to wait 25 minutes past our reserved dining time. Then our server kept disappearing. He never refilled our drinks and didn't offer us dessert. It took almost 90 minutes from the start of our reservation until he brought is the check. I had the Cobb salad, and it was surprisingly spicey and lacking a good cheese.

The white sangria at the Plaza is excellent. I thought the food was good, not great, but the service, sangria and amazing view of the castle made it a fantastic experience. Plus it's much more relaxing than fighting crowds and searching for a table at MK quick service restaurants.

Ate there with wife and son for late dinner last night. The lobster cobb salad was great, the vegetarian bangers and mash was a hit with my son, and the Turkey Hot Brown Sandwich was amazing. I suggest going to dinner instead of lunch because I think the dinner menu selections are MUCH better (and better prepared). Lunch looks definitely overpriced.

When we go to DISNEY, we ALWAYS have to eat at: Liberty Tree Mama Melrose 50s Prime Time Cafe Yak and Yeti Tusker House (breakfast) Teppan Edo We are lucky this time to have a first time reservation to Ohana, I'm sure it will make our list.

One issue I've had consistently is the speed of service. On several occasions we had reservations and had to wait 20-30 minutes past our timeslot. Completely unacceptable. Its one thing if we have to wait for a walk up, but people have plans and fastpass reservations to get to, you cannot expect us to wait that much longer if we had reservations booked already. I probably won't go back because of this.

This is why we mostly eat quick service at the parks and table service at the resorts. Plaza looks like a nice atmosphere, but prices- even for Disney- are way overpriced for sandwiches. Thanks guys!

The plaza was our first Table Service restaurant in our first trip and thought it was just ok. The food was just that QS and the pricing is due to being in front of the castle and the service

While the mac 'n' cheese is definitely underwhelming (not anywhere near as good as you can get at Flame Tree for half the price) and the appetizers don't look appetizing (so we've skipped them), the Kentucky Turkey Hot Brown Sandwich (Lightly Battered Grilled Texas Toast layered with Oven-roasted Turkey Breast, Applewood-smoked Bacon, and Seasoned Grilled Tomato smothered with our Creamy Boursin® Cheese topped off with Melted Parmesan and Chives) with veggies is legit amazeballs. Ditto drinking dessert with the meal via the endless milkshake option.

I ate at the Plaza last summer and I enjoyed it. The Plaza Fries were very good, and at that time( I don't know if it's still a thing) they had bottomless milkshakes, and that was cool thing to experience. My biggest complaint is actually with the seating. I remember eating there and feeling like the people who sat next to us were breathing down our necks. I know they gotta pack people in, but it was borderline awkward how close they were to us. A solid meal, but I don't have to hit it every time I'm at the Magic Kingdom.

On point guys! Last summer my son and I ate there for the first time. It was our last evening and we wanted to spend in MK. BOG and Skipper was not what we wanted. The Plaza isn’t awful, but such a waste of a dining credit. Like Sci Fi and 50s Prime Time. I pay cash for those venues. Save he table service for legit table service venues ( Homecomin, Ohana, etc.). If we do fine there again, I’ll never use our DDP. Also, I asked for peanut butter sauce on that brownie sundae and they said “NO”. Told me it wasn’t on the menu. I was like, it’s right next door at the ice cream parlor! A manager overheard and she got me a dish of the sauce. Probably with some saliva in it but anyway. First time I ever was told no is WDW. It was not an unreasonable request! Thanks guys.

Totally agree with you all that the food is overpriced. We were there in April, split the fries appetizer, two meals (the steak and strawberry salad) and two desserts (banana split and brownie sundae) between 4 people, and with anAP discount and tip was just under $100. The mashed potatoes were actually very good and the steak was cooked just like we liked it. The salad was fresh like Pete’s but was a bit underwhelming. The desserts were the stars for us as we love banana splits and brownie sundaes. Not a terrible place but don’t be shocked by the high prices and somewhat underwhelming (not bad though) food.

Really enjoy the dining show. I disagree with your analysis on price, however. At Cosmic Rays, a bacon cheeseburger is $13.29; at Plaza it is $20. Everyone different, of course, but we are willing to pay that $7 premium for what we think is better quality, I’d argue bigger portions but haven’t analyzed, the advantage of being served, potential castle view, overall diversity of menu, opportunity to relax etc. Of course, to each their own. Really enjoy and look forward to your reviews!!

I thought the Reuben here was very good. Those Plaza fries must have a huuuuge mark up. I don’t remember the prices last summer being this high, does anyone know if they banged the prices up here recently? It wasn’t much higher than counter service last year! I would like to see some price comparisons 12 months ago v now to see if we are being ripped off. Just seen a menu from 2012 and the steak sandwich was 11.99.

Corey 2 is a fantastic addition to the crew! Good hire Pete! Corey dear..you are lactose intolerant like me, but haven't you heard of Lactase tablets? They come in pills to shallow, and in chewables. I buy my pills in the cheaper generic at Costco, and the chewables in the Target brand Up and Up. Take those and you won't have to worry about lactose tummy troubles again!! I bring a whole box to WDW with me because I love ice cream at Disney.

I used to love this restaurant and its club sandwhich and chose to go here for my birthday a yr and a half ago. I ordered the club and this time it was horrible. All I could taste was an over powering smoked ham flavor. The mgr finally admitted to me that they had recently changed the brand of ham they used. A cheaper brand im sure. She replaced it for the meatloaf with mashed potatoe meal. The meatloaf was a hard brick and also did not taste good. Honestly a stouffer meatloaf dinner for 2.50 tastes a lot better. I was so disappointed and have never returned. And yes all of the food is way over priced.
