I have really been loving watching Steve progress through the dining reviews. His mannerisms have become so much more refined and his palate is very visibly developing. I have been watching DIS-everything for the last two years and used to wonder why he was on dining reviews because he seemed so out of his element, and kind of uncomfortable, but now he just seems so much more confident and I am constant surprised at his menu choices! Thanks for taking us on your journey, Steve!

Okay, octopus and pate are both off my approved list - blech. Definitely glad Pete was there to help with pronunciation - these guys need to sit through a season of Masterchef for all the fancy words! Love Mom - she still needs her own microphone so we can hear her better. Congrats to Pete on sticking to his plan at a table full of temptation!

Guys....pate de campagne? Campagne means "COUNTRY-style" and that's chunky, dry, like you got. It is on PURPOSE that style and is NOT to be confused with the city-style gourmet smooth/rich version. I love you all, but gosh if you'd do some basic culinary research/education you'd approach these things with knowledge to share more often. AND AGAIN, it takes a MOMENT with your smart phone to look up the right pronunciation of things, so why so constantly do you NOT do that? And by the way, as an instant "what is profiteroles" query on your phone would show, the reason they taste "kinda like a cream puff" is because that's exactly WHAT a profiterole is! a cream puff! Sheesh!

Citricos has always been a must-do for us. Service has always been consistent as well as the food. It may not have been as adventurous as Pete wanted it to be but it was always worth an ADR for us, every time

What a wonderful group for this dining show. I adore Jackie and I think we need more of her in every video. Pete’s mom is just a delight every time we get to see her. Fiasco has been one of my favorites since he joined the team, we’ll spoken with interesting insights. Eric is also well spoken with interesting insights. Pete and Steve are our oldies but goodies. I’m not going to Disney World anytime soon but it was a pleasure to watch this review.

I love that you guys don't sugar coat anything in any of your podcasts/shows. Keep up the good work! I always avoided Citricos because I thought you'd have to go change clothes from "park attire" to feel right there. You guys and everyone else in the background seemed comfortably dressed though.

At night and on weekends I have seen people dress up but nowhere near as dressed up as Cali Grill where I have seen evening dresses worn at brunch!! I feel comfortable coming straight from park for early dinner. But after 7pm I would say its more appropriate to be in long pants and a bit nicer tops!

Neither Steve nor anyone else should feel self conscience about what they like and don't like. I think this show actually benefits having a variety of different types of eaters. There are many different types of eaters watching this right now. I wish Cory and/or Julie would do some of the food review to get a take from parents with children. So, Steve, there's nothing wrong with having a more mainstream taste. Everyone's different. I eat most things, but do have my idiosyncrasies as well........Pete, your mom is a dear lady. So glad you have her on some of the shows. She's a jewel..

As soon as I saw all the people at the table it made wish I had been invited to this meal, I bet it was a great conversation group. Pete's mom is so cute, I love when she is on. Eric said before that he is a foodie, I like they way he talks about the meal. I was glad to see Steve explain he likes to try other things, people giving him a hard time bothers me sometimes. The mean people who make fun of Corey should be ashamed, he is new to Pete's team and he is learning, and I enjoy his thoughts on things. Ms. Jackie is a sweetheart, I could see myself having a great dinner with her talking about Disney. Pete talking about the steak is exactly how I feel about steaks. Thanks for sharing. (PS the cheesecake didn't look great, I thought it looked spongy)

Went to citricos because we couldn't get into another restaurant. What a pleasure to dine there. Great wine list. Great food. The service was very great. Will definitely recommend this restaurant now as well.

Mrs. Werner is adorable. Pete's steak looks delicious. Fiasco...I like Deb's suggestion below about having some rudimentary lessons as it relates to food if you're going to do dining reviews. I heard Pete say during Eric's talk about the dessert that maybe he should give a lesson in pronunciation since everyone's having a problem pronouncing these words...I say yes please.

I have been waiting for this review for awhile! My wife and I went on our last trip to Citrico's and both got the filet. We both quickly fell in love with the restaurant and at the time is was easily one of the top meals we have had on property! Glad to see it is echoed by the team!

Pete's mom is just the sweetest. I lost my mom last year so it warms my heart to see Pete and his mom together! Just another way to live vicariously through The Dis. LOL Pete I am super proud of you for skipping dessert! Being a diabetic is not easy. I can never skip dessert. I will not eat as much as I used to, but I can't skip it. GREAT job! I do know how hard that is to do!

Having recently taken my 76-year old Mom to WDW, I appreciate her in these reviews even more than before. I wish I could take her more often! We had such a great time, and by going at her pace, it actually made what we did even more enjoyable because we took our time to soak things in. Seriously, do the Afternoon Tea!

They actually do the same thing for the tortilla soup at a Coronado Springs restaurant I ate at. They had the dry ingredients in the bowl and poured the liquid base into the bowl right at your table so nothing gets soggy. It's one of the best soups I've ever had anywhere. It was also hilarious trying to see you pronounce profiteroles. That's not an uncommon dessert by any means and many higher-class restaurants throughout the country have it on their dessert menu.

“The difference between a pâté and a mousse is that a pâté is heavy in texture and a mousse is lighter - this lighter texture can be accomplished by added cream or egg whites, or by beating the ingredients together to incorporate air in the mixture.” Fois gras for instance comes in both forms the mouse and the pate. Pate literally means paste in French.

The Octopus was probably old, it should taste lightly fishy. The 'pate' is a actually a terrine. Good show guys.
