Hi there from Ireland Hans. Germany is very close to my heart. The first time I was on a plane and the first time I left to go abroad was to go to Germany. I flew with a group. We were music students on an exchange to Leipzig. We went from Dublin to Frankfurt and then to Leipzig. I was so impressed. Back here in Ireland, my best friend of 20 years grew up in Frankfurt, but she was born in East Germany and escaped with her family from the Soviet occupiers in 1950. Anyway, I absolutely love your channel. I am learning so much from you here. It is so interesting. I really like history. I would like to take up detecting one day. Many, many thanks. In Ireland, when we say goodbye in Irish, we say Slan. (Slawn) (There is what's called a fada over the a). 😉😊😉😉😉👋👋👍👍❤❤

Hi Hans That small threaded thing with the ball on the end looks very like part if the throttle linkage on my old Land Rover. Ethel There is not a cable, but a series of rods. This part is very close to the carburettor. There should also be a small locking nut

the one with the screw threads, I think it's from a flintlock, it's the part that screws down the top jaw to hold the flint in the hammer's lower fixed jaw. Screw threads look primitive so it's that old regardless if it's a gun part or not
@alan98bert3 жыл бұрын
That's exactly what it is.

I agree with several others that the round object looks like a toy wheel hub. That is what came to mind first for me. The threaded piece looks like a ball for a linkage of some kind.
