I do recommend using frame sliders and other various aftermarket bits to keep the delicate fairings off the ground in case of a low or zero speed drop.

The joke about the mirrors is that Rizoma could easily make bigger ones which are street legal, and them not looking too terrible.

Hey man, it sucks when you see your bike damaged. I had a CBR650F (2018) and last month the engine failed while I was riding. Losing power, weird noise, awful smell... I was going 120 km/h and had to pull over to the shoulder. It was at night, on the highway, so no lights anywhere around. Dangerous situation, but I was lucky I could stop safely... I was without the bike for about two weeks and, honestly, I was feeling pretty down during that time. Anyway, I got rid of that one and now I’m looking for the 2024 model, that’s how I found your channel :) P.S.: Keep your timing chain tensioner in check, it’s not pretty when it fails on this engine, and the OEM Honda one is prone to fail!

@Akai glad your okay! Easy to fix the bike but it's not easy to fix you! I was about to change my mirrors since I can't see anything behind me. I'm to Wide! Lol I ended up getting a new 2023 CBR with the clutch but I love it. Keep up the great videos! American 650 CBR Rider! Ummm by the way we still haven't gotten the new 2024 Honda CBR650R!

actually the mirrors are good for the purpose of removing the stock one's, some countries don't let you legally ride without mirrors, and instead of putting plugs you could just install these if you don't want to use mirrors, at least these look good and are technically legal

ouch just looking at the dmg break my heart, i cant imagine how you feel or maybe i can since i dropped my bike like 2 weeks after getting it while moving it in a parking lot, thankfully i was moving it with my hand and dmg wasnt that bad, or at least not that visible thankfully

Only buy real Rizoma mirrors, the fake ones just feels cheap, it vibrates a lot and are too short which make them pretty useless. Real ones are also a bit tricky at first but are way more usable since they are longer and in a way better setup for you to see in them.

There is no vibration, but regardless of whether you purchase the original or the ones I have, there is a reason why these are illegal - they just aren't safe enough. They look cool, but I honestly prefer my safety.

Those mirrors are pretty much for looks only. Maybe the OG stealth (what you currently have) actually help with downforce, but until I see data proving that I'll assume their just for looks. Most people around here just go with mirror block offs and completely delete them. Personally mirrors have caused more "oh shit" moments than they've helped. What I'd like to see is a rear cam helmet with a projection on the visor, I really don't like moving my head, or looking in any other direction other than the direction I'm going. That's just me though. You're making a good call if you actually want some vision of what's behind you though.

Ich habe sofort an dich gedacht, damit du bei einer Kontrolle keinen Ärger bekommst oder zumindest weißt, was auf dich zukommen könnte. Moin, ich hab die Doku auch gesehen, die winglets sind nicht legal one ABE, bei einer Kontrolle kann ich sie aber sofort ab machen :) Mir geht’s soweit gut. Der Umzug ist quasi durch ich muss nur Ordnung machen und demnächst hab ich auch wieder Zeit ein Video zu drehen. Da werde ich dann nochmal auf alles eingehen :) ich freue mich schon
