0:45 Wrong. 2 pins are used for charging. those two on sides (red and black wire uf u cut cable) while rest two in middle are used for data transfer (white and green), but with black charging wire (ground) used also as voltage reference for data transfer. always bring USB-USB reduction with middle (data) pins unconnected while side (charging) pins are connected. that way u prevent being hacked.

To remove data transferring from your cable cut the cable open can cut the green and white cables inside then put it back together then you can test it by plugging it into your computer/laptop to see

1 trick is to by onether charging cable for your phone 📱 open it up and cut the data wires so the data cannot come through the data wires only power come through the power + and - so close it back up .Since the data wires are cut the data cannot flow through and hackers won't be able to get to the data. This may not work
