You’ve really done such a fabulous job getting them in such good places to make them happy. Looks like they will do beautifully. Please keep showing them. Marvelous!❤

Didn’t realise you could put orchids outside thought it was too cold here in the UK, but you seems to be doing quite well. Catch you soon going away Sunday going to see my son and grandchildren. Only for a couple of days they’re on holiday so probably be back home on Tuesday or Wednesday morning. See you then❤❤

Enjoy your break, it'll do you good. Yes, we can grow our orchids outside, but there are environmental issues to consider. Our weather, too hot, too cold, too wet, too dry, so a lot of careful thinking before I took the plunge, but I'm glad I did. ❤️❤️

At 5:33 did you say Robinia ? that's the tree that killed all the orchids I had mounted on the bark. All parts of the tree are poisonous (except the flowers which are quite tasty) so falling leaves and rainwater runoff could kill them I would remove them as soon as possible

Okay, thanks, I'll relocate my orchids straight away 👍🏻

Wisteria is a toxic plant so I wouldn't risk it. If you want some cork branches (with wood) I would be happy to try and get some to you, I don't think it would be a problem (I'll get right on it just checking 😁

Ynse, sending wood outside the EU is a no go. It needs phyto and other paper work. UK is very strict on controlling stuff that comes in there and it cause problems. Do not risk it. Someone I know, tried to import some nursery grown orchids into the UK last year. It took 13 months to get all the paperwork in order and then at customs they finally released them after a lot of hassle. Since the UK left the EU, governments created so much problems for each other, on both sides of the sea, that even getting food exchanged causes a lot of problems on both sides. If it wasn't so difficult and problematic, I would have send over several things to orchid friends in the UK but it's a mess.
