Geez, if you were a dinosaur and wanted to go for a swim on a nice day, there was a chance you could be a snack for one of these monsters. Fascinating. Thanks for showcasing Pliosauroidea.

What's a Pliosauroidea's favorite type of music? Anything with a good "wave" beat, though they've been known to rock out to some "sea-rious" tunes on the ocean floor. 😂🦖

Pliosaurs are my favorite seagoing apex predators. Very good video. Only 2 issues. At 1 point u showed a sperm whale instead of a blue. And the other is that the mosasuars prob didnt make pliosaurs go extinct. They prob just took over and became more numerous after they did so. I think some pliosaur species made it to the end.

@@brianhammer5107 maybe, but ichtyosaursare not really fish-like anyway, it's well known they are pretty similar to dolphins, dolphinsare themajor andalwayscoming back comparison for them. So ichtyosaurs look like mammals, actually ^^

@@stoneworld5962 dolphins/whales are considered fish-like, body-design wise - but being air-breathers that need to surface, their tail fins are oriented differently

Stop calling them monsters, they're just animals! Animals!
@TheaSvendsen

Also important to note that a monster is a fictional creature; not a real animal - which these marine reptiles definitely were. But the use of the word “monster” for every huge, powerful and dangerous creature will probably end with a redefinition of that word - if the majority can’t use it correctly, then it will be changed to mean what they think it means/how they use it. It’s a weird practice but I’ve seen it happen way too often.

Video is cool but please don't say again that ichtyosauruses are "fish". Ichtus does mean fish but remember Saurus means reptile or lizard. Ichtyosauruses are marine reptiles, not fish. Be careful or Ben G Thomas the Ichtyo lover will have to debunk your video ^^
