I remove asbestos for a living. Next time you should at least get a p100 respirator and keep a clean shaven face any time you cut into building materials. Drywall, linoleum and ofc pipe insulation all can contain it. That air-cell insulation could be 80-90 percent asbestos

My father is currently dying of Mesothelioma (asbestos cancer) in less than 1 year he has lost near 50lbs, he is barely able to get himself out of bed or walk on his own. Please take proper precautions when working around asbestos. I would hate for anyone else to have to go through what my father is.

Said he’s been breaking it off no mask w his bare hands for years 😬

@@GRIM_MODAlthough the media makes asbestos sound like instant death, it takes decades of years of exposure, and not the wet soapy kind but flying around like a dust storm type of exposure. Even then, the vast majority got asbestosis because of smoking. Why? Because draw the smoke deeply into their lungs and the asbestos comes along with it.

Mr. Broski; use ammended water. Water ammended with a surfactant. Laundry water softener is a surfactant. A surfactant breakes down the surface tension of water, allowing it to disperse over a larger surface area. A drop of water has relatively little surface area. That's why ammended water, which is water with a surfactant added, is required when doing wet removal if asbestos.
